Hi Everyone, in this tutorial we are going to be having a look at how you can achieve simple concurrency in Go using goroutines. We'll be looking at how you can speed up some parts of your application and we'll be lightly covering some of the things you'll need to watch out for when adding concurrency.

Definitely great video for absolute beginners in Go, but even something a bit more advanced could've been added. Such as using an http request instead of a for-loop, and a basic channel to catch the results. Really looking forward to your advanced videos!

Go would be pretty much perfect if it would allow unused variables. Just make them warnings. For example what if I defined 20 preset color values and only use one? Do I get 19 errors?

You can use package level vars similar to constants

The font size is too small (as I’m watching on mobile phone), it should be at least zoomed in 200%
