With all of the revivals of game shows being on ABC for the past few summers. WHY OH WHY isn’t THIS one of them?!? This game is just terrific. I mean Pyramid is on ABC and that was (still is?) a Bob Stewart production.

Personally, I would definitely ❤ to see this Game Show be rebooted and my pick for host? Definitely Mark L. Walberg, he deserves to host another Game Show, plus I ❤ him on Russian Roulette and no one says Stop the Clock perfectly like he does This should be for Cable TV like Game Show Network or some other Cable Network, IMO

I think the reason they switched to a head-to-head format is because there was not enough people who auditioned to be contestants on the show.

It was always "head to head". What you meant to say is "keep all the contestants all week format" vs "just returning champions every day"

Elaine Joyce and Richard Kline, huh?? Hmph!! During the 70s and 80s there were lots of game shows on daytime TV that used celebrities. But those game shows usually had SUPPORTING actors and actresses from daytime soaps, primetime sitcoms and the occasional primetime drama in addition to stand-up comics as their celebrity panelists. Even though I'm too young to remember the epoch in which I was born (1967) when shows like THE HOLLYWOOD SQUARES, PASSWORD and WHAT'S MY LINE? used A-listers as panelists, I can still definitely appreciate such eras.

@epaddon5 жыл бұрын
Hardly. Stewart had a number of NBC shows staring with "Eye Guess" in 1966, and then "Personality", "Three On A Match", "Winning Streak" and "Shoot For The Stars." All of those had originated in New York and then in 1980 "Chain Reaction" was his first NBC show in California.
