Jennifer all these cards are beautiful. I feel in love with Alex Siberia a couple of years ago. While in hospital last year, I too, joined in the crowd funding to help the girls realise their dream of a release. I haven't got my newest order but thrilled wth what you've created today. Cheers Lisa

I saw those flower dies right after after placing 3 orders! Now by the time I get money again, they’ll be sold out-especially after Jen does a video! They are really whimsical! Love them!

You'll love the Empress. I make albums and paper crafts to sell (oddly not cards, but I watch Jennifer for all the amazing techniques) and do a lot - a lot - of die cutting. I bought my Empress about a year ago and am still using the original plates. A tip: Jennifer cuts into the plates, like with every other die cutting machine. But if you watch Anna Griffin s video and read the instructions, they say to cut into the magnetic mat. I split the difference and do both 😋. If I don't need precise placement of the die, I put the die face up, put my paper down, then cut into the plates. If I need to be more accurate, or am working with scraps / small pieces of paper, I cut the opposite way (paper, die face down, cut into the mat). Doing this along with moving dies around like with any die machine has helped everything stay straight. I bought an extra set of plates just to be safe, but I haven't even opened the box yet.

I love the way these floral creations turned out! It appears Alex has another wonderful release that I will need to look at with the full stamp of sentiments and with one large die, gorgeous floral stamps and dies with a sheet of instructions. Everything is there to warm my creative spirit.

I was so excited to see that you use the color cubes. I just ordered the bundle last night, and Sarah immediately emailed me the color companion. Then this morning, I saw that it has been shipped. I had an idea last year a few months before Jen came out with a video very much to my surprise! I had been wanting to do a clear front card! I just didn’t have the time to sit down and work it out , not the acetate. So this was really exciting for me! Love, love, love this!❤❤❤ I’m definitely an out of the box kind of person so this is great for me!

I like Hero Arts, Brutus Monroe and Gina K Designs detail white. I rarely use black embossing powder but when I do it's Ranger.

Just for my understanding; is acetate the same as the laminated sheets when heated and can I use those??

It is not the same. Laminated sheets are thicker and I haven't tried it with this technique. But you can see if it works.

@@jennifermcguireink Thought so. I do use them for see through cards with extra paperstrip at fold or as shaker windows. But never tried acetate so ty for answering my question and do forgive my grammar issues as english is not my native language, Im dutch :)
