And to see poor Nell dancing with the delusions that the house gave her, all alone, it just made me so sad and spooked. I dunno, it's a hard feeling to describe.

@@fleabaguette9699 this shows are a different type of horror. They are scary, but a deep fear. The fear of loosing your loved ones, or the one of realising you already did. @@07aniketdeysarkar26 I disagree completely. I find Bly Manor to be an extraordinarily well-crafted example of Gothic Romance, from the perspectives of plot consistency, character development, incorporation of themes and allegories, and the overall execution from the script. The central appeal of the two entries in "The Haunting of..." series so far have not been the ghosts, or the horror factor. It's using the ghost story as a framing device to tell more interesting, character-driven stories. If it didn't tickle your fancy, that's completely fine. But Bly Manor is anything but ordinary, and the creators of the show deserve to be commended for all of the work that went into making the writing on this show so precise and well-executed.

Go tomorrow and Stark's theme from GoT is somwhat similar both in terms of musicality and the tragedy behind. And I just love both of them sooooo much.

I fell in love with Nell. Everything they 've been through. The crucial horror. The ghosts in the backround, everywhere present. And at the end, although the scary car scene where Nellies Ghost screamed and oll the other scenes that hunts us....I cried. Mike Flanagan is a Mastermind.

As big as this song was in the first season, my heart goes to Dani at the end of Bly Manor and how she crumbled and sacrificed herself to end her own and everyone else’s pain.

There was a time when I used to binge watch horror movies and series at night. I was kinda bored of their same repeated pattern. Also none could scare me to the point that I would turn it off in between. But this, this one changed the whole story man. I could never find anything even comparable to its level before or after
