You and I are kindred spirits, my friend. My two absolute favourites are Level 42, and Go West. How you heard of, especially, Level 42, in the states, is beyond me. I’m English, so I remember them well. I have memories from both bands that really are a balm to my soul.

I’m a teenager, I was born recently, but Go West is my favorite band of all time! I love all their albums and songs. I own lots of their CDs and vinyls. My favorite song is “One Way Street”. I wish I was alive when they were bigger! Cool interview it’s always interesting hearing them talk :D

Great blokes! I’m from Australia and have been lucky enough to have seen Go West 3-times. Once was on the “Hear and Now” 2003 concert (with Paul Young, Kim Wilde, Human League and others), another time was at Rooty Hill RSL in 2008 (with Pseudo Echo & Waa Waa Nee) and lastly, at Belmont 16-Foot Sailing Club, when Tony Hadley toured with Go West. At Rooty Hill RSL, Pete actually bought me and my mates a beer. We’re so blessed to have been there in the 80’s & early 90’s, to see Go West in full flight. Thanks for the music Peter and Richard. The music of Go West was and still is awesome! I recently came over their tracks on YT and of course remembered their great hits. Peter Cox voice is so intense, the songs are versatile and extremely well produced. One of my favorite 80s pop bands. Hats off!🤩👏

The boys like a little red fabulous,great band and Peter cox still has a wonderful voice which doesn't always stay as the yrs pass,keep doing it boys.

I probably watched when they won the Brit Award in 1986 - even though I was only about 13/14 at the time. I was a huge Go West fan and loved Peter Cox, I was thrilled when they won 😊

God I was wild 80 s girlie , I had such a crush on Pete cox freaking out on the dance floor too his records his voice is unique , still a handsome man to this day ❤ would love too see them in concert I’m 55 now and I’m wanting my wildness back 😂

In 1985 I subscribed to a go west fan magazine it came out every few months to Australia.I think it was a small size from a foggy memory.I also remembered sending hundreds of pages requesting a go west concert to be replayed so I could record Ito on the VHS.

Saw go west in wolverhampton was amazing fabulous guys. Am seeing them again in december Love there songs grew up with go west and are brill, ow richard my bday is 21st march

40ish hip hop guy, was my first music love, but before I fell into hip hop “king of wishful thinking” was my first ever jam, age 8 or so. Always my answer to that question. Still kills me today. Saw the singer on a show “reborn in the USA” decades later where he made “me and mrs jones” such a work of art. Long live go west!

Thanks for this interview! I have been mad about Go West since 1985 and as a matter of fact I was gobsmacked when you mentioned the Japan concert because I WAS THERE! And I still have the T-shirt! If only they’d come back to the states. Love them & their legendary songs. And Peter…that VOICE! They were fantastic and still are.

Brand X..great band..also, Alan Murphy I met through a friend in Islington was a very good player..I thought I was ok but he was on another level..we were listening to Roundabout by Yes which he played note perfect..he was young at the time.
