It’s definitely worthwhile coming to Goa in low season - unless you get unlucky with the rain like us 😂 will be interesting to see how busy it gets in high season!

I live in Mumbai. My goal is to move to Goa, buy a small house, work remotely and just chill. Someday! Enjoy your stay in India man!

2330 Rs a night!! Wow that is way too much. And who needs a fridge or AC or that little mattress on the floor? I can imagine next store filled with a group of 5 people annoying me. Wait did you book 1 month online?@@yanoftheworld

Hey thanks for getting back.I guess it all depends what you like/need. We definitely appreciate having a fridge as we drink a lot of water (they provide water free, so we save money and cut down on plastic) The little mattress is quite cosy and means you don't sit on the bed all the time. Luckily the neighbours have been quiet so far (hopefully I haven't jinxed it now! 😅) its also handy having a kettle as we save money on coffee. Yeah we booked on line, from the other accommodation we have had in India and similar budget, I think it's our favourite. I don't think you can get that much cheaper, with the same level of quality in Agonda, although I could be wrong! Where are you based? Cheers

I'm in Mamallapuram now with a nice room for 900Rs a night. I know it's listed for 1200rs +fees online. If you are planning to stay a long time i would always bargain directly when you get there. I've been to Agonda many times in the past... i think it has changed a bit too much now.@@yanoftheworld

900Rs sounds a good deal. Agonda feels pretty quiet and chill, but that's maybe down to low season. Good to chat, cheers 👍
