I visited Arambol Beach and trekked all the way to Baba in 2016.. that time it was a hidden treasure of Goa where only few people knew.. a Swiss gentleman who was staying in arambol for months, gave us the route to this secret sweet water lake.. the trekk was really awesome.. the multani mitti was the best solution for all the tanning we had..and the scene on the top where Baba was there , would be ecstasy for many..there was a rule.. everyone has to come with some chadawa to baba.. koi amrood la raha..koi watermelon..and koi... 'Jo b chadega sab me batega' 😅 While coming down the mountain,there was running water stream also..and you would find small fishes where the water would hold... the sweet water lake was as clean as mirror... But then again when I visited in 2021 around, the whole scene was changed..this was no longer a hidden gem.. it is very much commercialized now.. they hv put shacks and would charge money to sit there and was very much crowded..baba is also gone..

Hey hello, i am a first time visitor to goa and i dont even have the full idea of what goa has in north and south. As a beginner to goa, which part of it do you suggest i can go to. Please suggest. I would like a liesure and not so adventurous trip.

Hi Harshita, if you like peaceful vacation away from the crowd then its definately South Goa. But if you are planning solo trip, then would suggest you north Goa

hi, we r planning to go goa in mid may for honeymoon. But most of people say that its off season, and some say Goa is good for every season. I know that there will be hot and humid. But we plan to explore it in the morng and after 4pm. I decided to go south goa...So can u pls tell we will go to north goa?? as because of off season south goa crowd is extremely less as compared to north goa?

Hi Sahil, Goa is definitely not good for all seasons. It will be extremely hot and humid as you already anticipated. I would suggest you to go to Manali instead. If you still wish to visit Goa then south Goa is definitely recommended. But since you are going on honeymoon and it's off season, you can stay in some good stays in North Goa. South Goa doesn't have many exotic stays.

@@SakreCubes actually we didn't want to explore the Himalayas. Dont u think that it will good to go out after 4pm or early in the morning till 10am?
