make sure you show them how they will cut the grass, sweep the sidewalks, clean the motor pool, and all the other stuff they do that has nothing to do with being Infantry.

Well, you can't be in the field every single day. And who's gonna make sure the AO is squared away when we're back in garrison? Or, maybe you'd like the Army to hire cleaners, and lawn people, like we're the Kardashians, or the Howells? -__-

If you don’t dedicate yourself to do things you wont normally do you shouldn’t be enlisting in the first place. i am excited to join 11B hopefully 11B specifically but who knows maybe i’ll have to do something different but either way i’m determined to serve my country and am confident with my try or die mindset that i can fight through anything that’s thrown at me

Dude every MOS your gonna be a janitor for the area you are working in. It’s not about MOS it’s about rank. Privates and PFCs are the janitors. You’ll only be a lower enlisted for so long and the janitorial duties will be passed down to the new boots who show up. It’s how it’s always been everyone does it do your time and in a couple years your job will be to tell the new guys what to clean and cut while you sit on your ass and watch lol

I'm enlisting and have the choice of 11B Infantryman, 91A M1 Abrams Tank System Maintainer, 91B Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic, or 19K M1 Armor Crewmember.

To join the U.S. Army you must be an 🇺🇸 citizen or resident alien with an I-551 card. After obtaining an I-551 Permanent Resident Card, you may be eligible to enlist. You must be between the ages of 17-35 to join the Army, however, this could vary based on the path you choose.
