The idea of snapping turn three and playing Nightcrawler never occurred to me. It was really fun watching opponents trying to counter Green Goblin and losing to a 1-Drop

Yeah that was actually a really smart move by Mogwai imo, it really baited out the Polaris from the opponent which is amazing imo.

Another way of doing it is Titania into Nightcrawler on T2 on the right location. If the space throne didn't come up yet there's a good chance it will, and it's a good way to clog it. Then you either go over 5 power or killmonger on T6 (which for me was a good addition because I've seen a lot of Patriot/Debri/Squirrel girl decks today)

Thanks so much for sharing, this deck pulled me out of a crazy losing streak (from 80 to 62). Now I'm at 71 and climbing, ended up swapping out Shang Chi for Aero though. This deck is slappin' though.

Hobgoblin isn't Harry outside the latest Marvel cartoon. There were many iterations of Hob, most notably Rodrick Kingsley and Phil Ulrich, or funny enough, Ned Leeds.

@@ghxstjxker yeah, the only thing is that in all stories Hobgoblin came after green goblin. So match progression wise the lore is solid. Green goblin happens early and hobgoblin comes later.

@souLance Oh I know, I was replying to the original comment here where he was saying Harry was Hobgoblin as a generalization. He was one of them as of now, but not the original or most known of the Hobgoblin mantle holders.

I would consider Quake for this location. Especially when you pair her with something like Black Widow which can be pretty dirty. 👍

Low key the lizard on curve in the space throne is a gigachad play, you commit very little in terms of tempo and value but your opponent most likely has to commit quite a bit more to put 6 there while you can focus all on the other two locations.

I do agree with the featured location argument. I'm fine with it existing to give people a reason to play different decks but at 48 hours it becomes way too annoying to face and can really feel unfun to play against. I hope it will just get reduced to 24 hours so we won't have to suffer through it in the future.

The often droning meta of Legends of Runeterra is what caused the switch to Marvel SNAP isn't it? Meta or no meta, the locations change everything and it requires flexability in your deck building to ensure you have utility for any situation. I'm thinking the 30, 40, 60 card deck games are on the way out because they represent what card games have been missing, an element of luck beyond the draw that you can play to,. It makes everything far more dynamic and interesting. When I first downloaded the game I was running an Odin deck that was kind of everywhere, I'm not going to lie but somehow it managed to work for me banger ,after banger, after banger. LOL

Yea not been a fan of feature locations. You either have to make a deck for it to some times get it or not play whatever deck you are enjoying unless it happens to mesh with the location.

For the last play you could've played titania then polaris, so if they didn't play a card you clog their board with titania then last turn take the titania back.

I ran a similar disruptive deck with quake instead of nightcrawler. I also don't have Polaris, so I have gamora and professor x to pair well with the daredevil. Their space gets so cramped with no way to get points on the other lane. Except for Klaw. I lost to it only once

Jugg in this deck has 2 functions: keeping something out of a lane + making something move for Miles. The only other card that archives both functions is Aero, but that's a 5-cost card vs. a 3-cost card. If you run Aero that also means you can't Hobgoblin on curve. So she is probably the closest you can use, but the deck may be worse because of it.

I agree with the featured location thing. One day a week for there's one location that spawns in 60% of games is totally fine and I actually like that everyone scrambles that day to play a deck that they might not be playing regularly because of that. 3 days a week? nah too much. I hope they change it soon.

You did not pilot this deck particularly well. You should use the titania + green globin combo more and actually try to clog the opponent like the archetype is meant to do.
