I’ve watched Basking sharks feed in person and they are seriously so cool. They’re also just as chill as they appear! They swim slow and gentle while feeding, I wish I could see them again!

The Great White certainly has the power, but if I was to vote for the Chaotic Evil shark it would go to the Cookie-cutter Shark. Seriously, there was a time that species was putting nuclear submarines out of commission...

Goblin sharks are so cool. That nose full of electroreceptors, and the way they can project their jaws is so creepy, and I love it.

One of the first things I learned about reef sharks is their distinctive body language that lets you know where they are on a scale of 'im chill' to 'hell no' before they bite (if they bite), going from outstretched cruising pectoral fins and an easy gait, to lowered fins and zig-zag movement, etc. I realized this video was more focused on the shark's interactions with each other and their habitat, but I selfishly appreciate an animal who has rules and lets you know what the rules are before hitting you with Consequences.

I find it funny that the only one who isn't within Carcharhiniformes or Lamniformes is the Whale Shark. True Neutral behavior.

I cant disagree with any placements on the list, just a shame my favorite shark- the Lemon Shark- didn't make the cut. But interesting nonetheless! I remember my first time swimming with reef sharks, I was about 9 at the time and was very frightened but I knew they wouldn't hurt me. I was just so amazed by my first snorkel on a tropical reef! (Great Barrier reef 1990).

The choice of music for the basking shark is absolutely perfect lol I heard the oceanic white tip mentioned but I was surprised not to see it take a place on the evil row. It dawned on me however that I was thinking of it too much in terms of human encounters not how they relate to the other animals in their ecosystem.

You know, I had a thought. When humans eventually colonize other planets, and discover worlds with alien fauna, there's prolly going to be a list of hallmark animals from Earth that will be taught to kids around the galaxy. And I bet the Great White Shark is going to be on that list. Imagine going from top predator in your world's oceans to being recognized throughout the universe. All while being none the wiser.

Goblin Sharks are one of the coolest species of shark to ever evolve.

If every sand shark born already canibalized over a half dozen siblings then I would put them at neutral evil not chaotic neutral. Also think the black tipped sharks are more attractive then the tiger shark, but attractiveness is just personal opinion so unimportant.

Parrot fish don’t really do much damage with their tiny bites here and there, but the diseases they can spread from one coral to another can be devastating. Without sharks around to keep the parrotfish in check they can spread these coral-killing infections far and fast causing the whole reef to get sick and die.

I love these alignment charts and learning about animals could you do more like these but with either primates, amphibians and spiders please I would love that also your channel is the best
