@@cousinpizza6958 Goblin Slayer being happy for High Elf Archer got to see her sister getting married. He had an older sister once, then she was assaulted, tortured and finally murdered by Goblins when they destroyed his village when he was a boy. His sister had hidden him under the floorboards of their home when the goblins attacked and he saw everything they did to his sister. High Elf Archer is just thinking it's Goblin Slayer being Goblin Slayer when he says he has no one that would read his letter. He's actually being literal - he literally has no family that would read that letter. He will never get to see his sister get married. So he's just happy that High Elf Archer will never have to go through what he did.

i think my favorite thing in the second season is when goblin slayer meets that elf he saved from the place with the ogre(in season 1) and he tells her he killed them all. its so sweet and tragic.
