Iunno, once CyKill bragged so loudly about Zod being able to kick Trypticon's ass that through multiversal reverberations, Galvatron heard him and got preeeeeeetty pissed off 'bout it, so that collab might become a terf war. ...Or a several million ton dogfight.

Great ideas. I was thinking Snoop, a Renegade Female GoBot who turns into a Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird jet, teaming up with Starscream. Crasher would be great with the Stunticons because they drive wrecklessly.

It would be a good use of her talents. She'd enjoy it there, since everything she does is based of what she used to do as a career anyway, before the wars. Reinforces my belief that that's what she really wants, not being with Cy-Kill.

So the Renegade machine was basically the Gobot equivalent of the Robosmasher.

Sort of. That kind of machine was originally meant and used to give Gobots their alt-modes, but the Renegade modified that one.

I feel bad for the robot that the Renegades killed and then turned into Pincher. It's basically killing someone and turning their corpse into an evil monster.....

Yup. well two of the gobots got shot and taken there in that one scene one gold, one blue. Would account for Pincher being blue and gold in color. Regardless, yup, poor little dudes.

So that's how Pincher were born he was created through a dead robot Guardian that the Renegades killed and remodeled as an Insectoid robot monster that has the ability to transform into a weird jet plane.

Tonka? Tonka simply imported the machine robo from Bandai and so did also with devil invaders... Vamp, Scorp and Pincher...

Transformers were supposed to be gender neutral, but complaints from females led to the introduction of the gender paradigm. I suppose the Transformers were what we call woke in the future, greetings from 2023😂

This episode is confusing. I thought the gobots were once humans like the master renegade and were saved by the last Engineer who gave them the ability to turn flesh into metal. How is killing other robots or building one fit into that? It could explain the girls, but building new gobots were instead fooling around with girls.

Pincher looks awesome as a toy-much better made than a lot of Transformers-in fact a lot of them were. Too many Transformers toys in one place is a very tacky sight.

Does the unfortunate GoBot who was transformed into Pincher, look like the Guardian Dumper's twin? (I know he got the name because he transforms into a dump truck, but considering what "Taking a dump," refers to in American slang, Tonka really shouldn't have used the name.)

I always appreciated the lore of Gobots better than Transformers, it was much more space opera. I also loved the character interaction and personalities. Transformers was great, but kind of a bit shallow on the character end.

You couldn’t of out it better . That’s exactly why I loved transformers but go bots in particular this mini movie about turbo being injured, the last engineer and the master renegade was just a thrill ride of a movie and just tugged at my heart strings as a child .

yeah Sparky (the car red robot) Pathfinder (ufo), Vamp (blue monster bot/girl too which i didn't when i 1st seen it), Crasher (u no who she is) and Small Foot. Sparky could b a grilfriend 4 Bluestreak, Pathfinder 4 Cosmos, Crasher 4 Swindle (the sorryass 'con needs 1 if ya ask me) and Small Foot for Trailbreaker. I think the parings would work. NE 1 disapprove? Speak now and inform me.

It was a common problem with old school 2D animation: Different animators and lack of guidelines to ensure their style will be uniform.

In the original Machine Robo line, figures like Pincher and any other that had a monster themed vehicle form were called the Devil Invaders and were the only MR toys intended as antagonists. Aside from the poor animation quality, this could also be another reason why The Gobots show was rejected by Japan because Bandai weren't keen on a majority of the MR figures suddenly being labelled as villains.

On a fanfic I created, the TV channel in which works the main character broadcasts... CHALLENGE OF MACHINE ROBO! ... Just like Transformers, in that alternative reality Bandai licensed a series both for US and Japan. Initially was like the first story arc of Challenge of Gobots, but then we discover that "renegades" were under control of Gandorians and then brought back to senses. Later, rom Stol, leina and earth allies - between them NICK and AJ- lead the reunited Machine Robo to defeat Gandorians...being an us/Japan coproduction, this version had different censures. A character that dies in Japanese release, gets only "temporarily deactivated" in the US. (For instance Sarah, the daughter of Dozer, while dying in Japanese release is loaded into Ambulance robo in US release) ... The series ended in US with a Motion Picture in which Rom Stol defeats great Gandorian with sorta of matrix before it could attack Chronos with a bunch of Super zods, then the winning machine robo crowd celebrates the victory of Rom Stol in the same way of Transformers The Movie ending... "Let this mark the end of the Chronos wars, ushering the beginning of a new Era of Peace and Happiness for the Whole Galaxy!" Crowd of MACHINE ROBO (With Fitor, Leader One, Scooter robo, Dozer, Bike Robo, Geeper Creeper and many many others MR... Aside the allied earthlings):" HOORAY FOR ROM STOL AND LEINA! HOORAY! (3 TIMES) ". ... Part of the head of great Gandorian forms sorta of "moon" of Chronos... Hah, and The Transformers'movie on that reality was an all different stuff that included also the ROBOTIX robots...

Admititely, Most of the Gobots look no where as near as impressive as the Transformers. In fact most of the look either whimsy or pathetic. But Pincher, He is Solid. He is the one Gobot who actually looks impressive in both Robot and alternate mode.

The Transformers were an American invention using toys from different Japanese Toylines. The Go-Bots might have come out first by a couple of months, but they were haphazardly made in a rush to beat Hasbro to the market.
