If I look at the lyrics of VoB songs, it's all about their inner anxiety about the environment, women, education and other things in their view of their surroundings.

As I understood it the metal community were much more accepting of them than the people in their town, even their parents, that did not want them to be involved in this music. Because of religious reasons. But I could be wrong of course.

It was my first time seeing and hearing.... so I was focused, intrigued and paying a lot of attention to all aspects. So, not as visibly excited... but taking it all in... visuals, sounds, meaning, etc. :)
