The incarnation teaches that Jesus Christ IS NOT a human person, he has ZERO humanity. He is a God-person, the second person of the trinity, the Logos. Well, IF Jesus pre-existed as the 2nd person of the trinity, he is *a God-person, a non human person.* That non-human God-person took on flesh at the incarnation. Which means, now you have TWO persons. You have the pre-existing God-person AND *the human person, Jesus of Nazareth.* How can one person be two persons?

Jesus (the Son) prayed to the Father, a separate Person of the Trinity. The Son is not the Father or the Holy Spirit, the Father is not the Son or the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit is not the Father or the Son. The Son IS God, the Father IS God, the Holy Spirit IS God. This is the miracle of the Trinity: 3 Persons 1 God. As Jesus prayed to a separate Person He wasn't praying to Himself even if both are coexistantly, coequally, and coeternally God.
