God Dethroned's style of death metal really resonates with me. The band members come up with countless tasty riffs, and they know how to write catchy songs with plenty of brutality.

God Dethroned always has great drumming with memorable riffs. Since the days of Grand Grimoire hence Somberness of Winter they hold a special space in my metal collection.

I love this band, its style is unique, so underrated... if they came from Englad or the USA they would be much more famous....anyway, I like their last albums, but I must I say I prefer the old God Dethroned, when their lyrics and music were more satanic and blasphemous (The Grand Grimmoire, Bloody Blasphemy, Ravenous, The Lair of the White Worm...). Greetings from Spain, always loyal to the crown of God Dethroned!!! ^^

same here! the 90s albums are classics! yesterday I got to see that video Necromagnon! pure deathmetal from 1992 ! also Bloody blasphemy is an great album! I think that the bandname is too shocking.

The band evolved man... That style can take you only so far. Now they're on another level. This album is a masterpiece, melodies, lyrics, the whole package.

Lair of the White Worm is one my favorites! BUT the WWI trilogy is also such great music.....I like those much more than Illuminati.

PcP Films , I remember I discovered these guys in '01. I dont think there ever gonna change the sound. Holland's water supply makes sure the metal bands stay heavy. also Detonation was from Holland. im nkt sure if they still are around though.

I remember back a few years ago they brok eup, only reforming (initially at least) to do that metal cruise... Apparently they decided to at least do this new album, and that is why I'm thankful.

I remember buying The Grand Grimoire at FYE when I was young just by chance. That's my favorite album by them bc it was my first. I like their new direction with these War related concept albums. Check out their new album "Illuminati," it won't disappoint!
