Amen!!! When I first got born again I asked the Lord what do you mean by your word is alive and it’s in the Earth and he explained it so much like what you said he said my word it’s like a blizzard it’s coming toward you all the time and going past you. At the time I didn’t know Isaiah 55:10-11. Everything God is is in this earth right now and it is for us and it is everything good!!!!!

Another likeness between the story of Joseph and Jesus that I had never thought of before until now. But Jesus' younger brothers and sisters were probably jealous of Him, same as Joseph's brothers were jealous of him.

He allows bad things to happen. Every good gift comes from above, and the bad is allowed. They are two different things.

Great message, but leaves many questions. Especially challenging is the word apo in Greek. It seems that the devil does whatever he wants, and God can't stop him. But, then why pray to not be led into temptation? Why did the devil demand to sift Peter? Demand from who? Why didn't he just go ahead and do it? So God is allowing things he could stop, but chooses not to, right? But since he is good, he allows them for his good purposes. Where is this wrong?

@mike65809 Part of the confusion is the lack of understanding that man has a part to play in this. God gave dominion to us. He gave us back our authority to use. Also if we move in ignorance,error, sin, and violate spiritual laws we will suffer. Also we will not understand all things on this side of eternity either. We should never charge God with evil.
@Mike658095 ай бұрын
@@robinl6659 I agree but the problem is they say God does not allow evil. This obviously is a problem. If he can't stop it that creates problems, and if he is the author if it that creates problems. I think the biblical understanding is that he can stop it (and often does), but chooses not to for many reasons, some which you noted in your reply. But to preach he does not allow it does not seem correct to me.

In light of this, why did God say do not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil if He isn't evil and doesn't author it?

I enjoyed thec teaching but i wish the pastor spoke about Job in the bible .....God doesnt give evil but he let jobs fear come upon him with agreement with the devil that he wouldnt kill him. Can someone help me understand please ?
@pstepk5 ай бұрын
That’s a good point! Job specifically says that it was God who caused everything that happened him to happen. So Rick must believe that God no longer causes bad things to happen, but he used to.

What about all of the awful things that will happen during the great tribulation? Revelation is the New Testament, not the Old Testament. Revelation describes the horrors of the great tribulation. Would Rick say all of that is from the devil and not God's judgement?

Before you openly share opinions like this, you need to contact his ministry and hear what they say about your concerns/opinion. Be fair. Do the biblical thing.
