I don't desire the gold of the Earth, but of the Heavens. Having acquired quite the bountiful treasure chest over my aeons of sailing the high seas. Though one day I hit a rock. It seemed like my voyage had officially come to an end. Not only did I hit a rock, but now I was sinking. This was surely a disaster. Truly I was perplexed, I thought how could I possibly hit a frigging rock, I'm way out here in the middle of nowhere, far beyond where any man has been; in the murkiest and deepest of oceans. My first assumption was that utter death was before me. The spider had officially trapped itself in its own web and now would eternally devour itself. Great in trying to take down Goliath I had officially thrown the stone at myself, oh the irony. Yet then it dawned on me, whatever I hit way out here must be ridiculously huge. So I peered over my pirate ship and behold a stone made of the finest crystal known to man. Engraved in the center of the stone Alpha and Omega. Nearly completely hidden, at the bottom of it near the ocean floor a pearl. Covered in muck and emitting a very dim yet unusual glow. Unbeknownst to human eyes it also had an engraving on it, "Beloved". What this meant I didn't quite understand at the time, but I figured what the hell I'm already sinking so I might as well see what this is all about and go overboard willingly. That’s my verse/promise too!!! God gave it to me when I was VERY unhappy in my job, and then He opened a door for me in a career I never would have considered but that has given me endless satisfaction and happiness. This too will happen for you. Keep holding on to that promise!

Believe me, God will provide you with what you need. I will pray for you. I know how tough unemployment and job searching can be. In the meantime, it is best to enjoy some free time, spend time with family or friends, and meet new people in this difficult season. As hard as it is to not have a job, sometimes that can be better than having the wrong job. Also stay positive about the job search and network. This is the best thing to do to get a job.

I would encourage you to read Jeremiah 27, 28 and 29 in order to grasp the context. He was putting them in a 70yr exile to discipline them for the sake of their future spiritual prosperity. The Hope of their future wasn’t a job or temporary prosperity, it was Jesus. Such a beautiful passage when read in its entirety!

I didn’t have a job for a year and a half. Then found a job that had many red flags 🚩 during the interview, but I needed a job and everyone told me I was overthinking it so I took it. It was the most toxic environment I ever worked in, was blocked from doing most of my job and got fired 7 months after. Been 2 months unemployed so far. Now I have a huge experience gap. Another waiting period. I just asked God to help me build my confidence because it was completely wiped out.

How awesome that you posted this. I've been holding on to this verse for the last 1 to 2 weeks. God is really amazing isn't He? 😊 Always sending confirmation when needed. Checkout Psalm 25:14- The secret counsel of the LORD is for those who *fear* Him, and He makes known His covenant to them". We were made to be on the same page with God and He will tell us exactly and who exactly He has in store in His divine timing. ❤ I believe He won't throw us into the deep end for the most important decision we'll make after following Him. Some think God won't give us one person, but I know He has a perfect will (though not everyone picks it). That's the version of His plan I want. If He can choose our city,school,and friendships, He sure can pick our spouse if we allow Him to. ❤ Wishing the same for you! Thanks for posting that confirmation for me. 😊

This is my life verse. A friend typed this out on her new computer, and sent me this verse when I was in bed with my 5th pregnancy. I had already lost 4 babies, including my son’s twin. My son had been a 23 week premie and had overcome many obstacles, but was still a toddler. I had never had a full term pregnancy, but God, in His grace and mercy allowed me to go to term with this one. That verse sustained me every day as it was posted nearby.

I came from an abusive household. When my father left fortunately and cam a half year later back , I was afraid that my mom will left us too. I lay awake in my bed and the Lord told me that I must go to my mum to see if she is still there ( I was three or four) my mum stood in the hall and she said to me ; Johan you are awake early . It’s six o clock in the morning.( I still remember this) she took me to bed and I asked her ; do you also leave us? She told me with a gentile smile ; I’m not going anywhere I ll stay with you and your sister. This saved my life. When she was gone , the Lord said to me ; I will never leave you nor forsake you . I never ever forget this. My whole life I’m anxious and traumatized but the presence of the Lord God is with me , everyday of my life and will be there with me till I die or when He comes back on the clouds.❤Jesus ❤My Lord and Savior

Not going to happen if you're expecting God to intervene. For a better and more realistic result try reaching out to your estranged family slowly. Phone them and ask on their well-being. Discuss minor subjects (how's the weather,etc). Create a new relationship with them void of any past arguments. Don't wait for God. He's not real. Good luck.

@@TboneWTF I have tried many times to contact them, they just don't respond. My dad told me I'm not his daughter anymore after I left the religion. God is definitely real, anyone can look at the intelligent design all around us and see His handy work. Not believing in God is a bigger leap in faith than not believing in Him if you just think about it. God bless.

Been single pretty much my whole life. Reached a milestone age last year. Have prayed about this for approximately 15 years. If you're a woman, the only advice people give you is: 'If you want to be married to a good man that God has for you, then pray about it.' But I've done that, and nothing much has changed. It's too difficult to find someone, even with all the dating apps and stuff. There's nobody in my church. Sometimes I feel like I'll be alone for the rest of my life. Although I don't fear singleness the way I did when I was in my 20s, or even early 30s, it's really not easy being single, Christian and female, especially when church culture and community celebrates and glorifies marriage, couples, family, pregnancy, children, and motherhood so much. It definitely affects your self esteem, and other people's perceptions of you. Because you only seem to be allowed to be an adult woman if you get married, I still feel like I'm about 20 most of the time, even though I turned 40 last year. I don't see marriage as the key to happiness, but just when I think I've finally reached a stage where I can be at peace with being single, then something will come along that throws me right off track, and the despair, the sadness and the feeling that I just don't belong anywhere come flooding back.

How about my story.. I prayed to God for a wife 2010 and he kept showing me signs about this girl. Undoubtable. Kept asking and kept getting confirmations. Waited 12 years… till finally she got married.. to someone else. I was devastated. Im confused and disappointed. I don’t know what it was all about and why this happened.

Seems like my waiting period is my whole life. I'm 34 in a few days and have been single my entire life. I've prayed ever since I could remember that I would be married and have children. God promised me that I would...but now I have cancer and the medicine they're giving me to hopefully help puts me into menopause. 😅 So it seems like those promises aren't coming anytime soon. Sometimes I feel frustrated and wonder why I'm bothering to fight this stupid disease because it seems like what I'm fighting for is just more of the same... I keep trying to hope because God is a God of miracles, but I sure don't know any man, no matter how amazing, who would willingly sign up for a woman with stage 4 breast cancer and a bunch of question marks about children. But my God IS a God of miracles and He's already granted me so many miracles in my life that somehow I know it will work out...just maybe not until our 1,000 years of peace. I'm hoping I don't have to wait until then 😅

@@tizb5178 non believers do everything more quickly true but sometimes it ends up in a disaster situation but when it comes to God his perfect timing is way better and the best, I don’t know for the lady why she waited 30 years and I know God can do everything in his timing but I will let you know something, Either they waited and heard God wrong and mix up God word and missed it and that’s why we must pray, seek, and fast, disobedience can be it as well and more. Or it can be because God knows what is the best for them and more and God wants to reward and surprise you, it’s all about asking God and God will come back to his promise, for example I remember this lady here in KZfaq was mad at God because her mate didn’t came but let me you many act like they believe but rather have the promise then God, so the lady kept seeing 222 everywhere and she fell for the new age category then actually repenting and seeking God. If you want more questions of why God isn’t doing it yet then ask God yourself and wait patiently. Also many non believes need to wait and have money so not all of them get a house quickly as well.

The promise I was given by God was the restoration of my marriage. God is a restorer, a redeemer, a reconciler, and I am clinging to His promise that my Sarah and I will soon (as we understand it, the Spirit says) be restored in our marriage. God told me who my husband is going to be and at times it’s been so, so hard to wait! God is always reconfirming and reassuring me and just used this video to do it again! Those verses are also some of the ones I really cling to. God has also been telling me, not through the Bible but in other ways, that I should write this journey down as a testimony. I have often been hesitant to do so and asked God to show me what the reason was behind it. He just used this video to tell me one of the reasons why! God’s Word is like a fire and like a hammer that smashes rock to pieces. Nothing can stand in its way!!

It happened one day as I was looking at him that God told me through a clear, strong voice, “This will be your husband”. I didn’t hear the voice with my ears but it came as if from within; I heard and understood it loud and clear with my heart. I don’t know how else to explain it. I believed and praised God’s name all the way home. I didn’t respond to the promise extremely excited nor did I doubt. I just fell into a sort of awe and accepted it; neutrally and in quiet faith. It was only that evening that doubt started to creep in and then quickly turned into a river of bombarding thoughts of doubt and fear. Confused and worried, I thought imploringly, “But God, I thought it was You?”. The very next moment as I was opening my Bible it fell open to the book of Luke and my eyes immediately focused on a verse that I had honestly not even known existed in the Bible. “Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord." Luke 1:45. At reading that I was again believed and was filled with a deep peace. God has also reaffirmed this promise through a dream as well as a prophecy. My testimony has been growing in so many ways by the grace of God and yes, I was obedient and started to write it down over the course of several weeks. At it’s current finished state it is 23 pages long.

During these seven years of waiting, a promise from the Word I've often declared is "How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. I am in spiritual warfare for 13 years, and spiritual warfare is prophesized in the bible, but I've never read it I was raised atheist, so in the spiritual warfare they are trying to steal all my blessings! God promised me a wife, he said it wouldn't be easy, but it would be worth it (Matthew 7: 13-14). I'm 37 now, he is working on me on the inside, I will have to have patience. ⏲ And he told me I would make heaven crowded, I don't know how but somehow (Luke 1:16-17) 🌟✨💫

Agreed. I’m always amazied by people who seem to live lives where waiting is something they talk about in months or years, and promise that the waiting period will one day end and that God will give us the desires of our heart, especially when our desire is for a spouse or children. People need to stop speaking false promises into other’s lives or their own. God doesn’t promise anyone anything in this world. These folks made God into a cosmic Santa Clause. And then they say that we must be needing to do something to get the said spouse.

Worry about the future, which path to take and which decisions to make definetely can get to me. I listened to this tonight and your other video - that’s exactly when God moves; while stocking shelves at the grocery store I work at. It gave me some hope. I’ve never been so emptied out of faith in my Christian life of 15 years. If God doesn’t move I will definitely apostatize. I’m waiting to be healed from Bell’s palsy 😢 It’s hard to be patient stay positive. I love God no matter what and I’m so grateful for Him. It’s just if I stay like this I don’t know what I would do. I’d probably give up bc so much has been taken from me. I can’t lose control of my face. I can’t lose my smile(physically lose it) please pray for me because I’ve been waiting to be healed and I really hope God can heal me. I’ve learned so much from this and I promise to help others with this. I just don’t want to live this way for the rest of my life

I needed this today… my bday was 4/23 and it was a beautiful weekend! :”) truly grateful! I saw my good friends who love me for me and my family as well! God is good! However, my ex partner moved out Thursday so it was sadness then joy bc of my birthday… but today I was sad .. silent and lonely but I got up, went to the gym made myself a nourishing meal.. had a nice walk with my doggo and prayed for some peace and abundances in this new year of life for me… but I needed this video bc I am still sad and not sure why everything fell apart relationship wise… (7 years together) but thank YOU and thank God for urging you to post this… I needed to hear this. ❤🙏🏼

Alejandra, please don't take this as judgment against you; this is said with complete gentleness. What stood out immediately in your post is you said partner, not husband. Believers are not supposed to be cohabitating with those of the opposite sex if they are not our spouse. Since I am not God, I can't tell you with certainty why your partner moved out after 7 years, but maybe it's because the Lord does not want you living in sin that way. It's entirely possible your ex will come back, but not until the two of you are ready to make a solid commitment to marriage. All you can do is ask the Lord.

I already get nervous because of my age. Recently went through a semi-mutual break up. Because of how long it took me to get into my first relationship, and my current age, I fear not finding someone before my bio clock starts to fade. Didn’t help that the ex mentioned it as if I’m old and about to be dead meat…The disses and the wait both feel discouraging at times but I’m trying my best to stay positive and lean on Gods promises😢❤

As much as I love encouraging videos like this, and I appreciate your heart towards the "still single", there's a caveat in terms of marriage. I think it's important to remember that God doesn't promise a spouse in His Word. All Christians are a part of the church, the Bride of Christ, but in terms of earthly living marriage is not a guarantee. Ultimately, like every other aspect of our lives, God wants us to surrender our dreams to Him and say "Not my will, but yours be done." That means being fully satisfied in God and trusting His will in your life. It's okay to be hopeful, to keep praying, and to keep searching for a spouse, but there's a real danger of misplacing any disappointment toward God if you "expect" Him to come through for you. There are so many downtrodden, bitter single people out there who I fear had that mindset from the get go. I'M single, and have been for quite a while. If I'm wrong, PLEASE let me know.

Is it wrong to have faith and desire in your heart for a spouse, and yet think that may not be the plan God has for me? Especially since I have not found clarity when praying for an answer...such as the potential for a future religious vocation.
