My pastors have said the same thing. You are spot on. That’s why God is a god like no other. He loves us despite our flaws. Being Christian isn’t about how holy you are but how unholy you are and recognizing God has died for your sins and cleanses you. Praise be to the Lord.

Girl thank you for this! I was feeling like such a failure as a Christian. I’m a true believer. Always have been. But I got super serious and close to God and joined church again back in July of last year. I’ve been doing good but if I fall short and cuss, I’ll beat myself up. Recently, I’ve reconnected with an old friend and I’m super attracted to him. I’ve been celibate for MONTHS. Now I’m feeling lustful due to my attraction to him. I use to be for the world wanting lavish things, having pride, and motivated by money. You feel like those are things you want.. only to feel like you in a race or competition that only leaves you feeling empty.. God changed all that for me.. he will give you priceless gifts that money cannot buy and a peace and joy that never ends, no matter the situations life brings.. dont only pray..go build a relationship with him, see for yourself, hes waiting.

Thank you so much for this video. Lately, i’ve just been feeling down and just empty? unmotivated. The enemy keeps distorting my mind into thinking that i have to ‘work’ for God’s approval. The idea to keep working for God and that’s how i’ll receive His love. But that’s entirely wrong and I know that myself. It’s honestly been hard for me to change this messed up mindset of God, but I know deep down that the God I serve is a loving God. This video alone shows that ,and so does scripture. I know God will help me overcome this terrible mindset I truly do believe in His power (2 Corinthians 12:9) I’m not perfect and I can’t be perfect because i’m human. No one can be perfect because God HIMSELF is Perfect! So therefore I can’t work for His approval. But anyway, long story short, It would mean a lot if you guys (in the comments) could pray for me and help me overcome this mindset. Thanks again for this video and may God continue to bless you 💗

Amen! The word Perfect in Hebrew is not the same meaning in English. It means in Hebrew to be in accordance w/ His truth, to be mature, complete whole and sound in God. So we CAN be perfect & He DOES expects us to be perfect like the Word says in Matt 5:48. To be perfect in God is to have a real intimate relationship w/ Him and not staying in your sin, sinning habitually etc. it’s not saying you won’t ever sin because we are still living w/ this sinful flesh, in our sinful nature like you said. 😊 Hope this helps someone. We have to look @ a lot of the words in the Bible in Hebrew & Greek to get the true meaning & also read in the right spirit, asking the Holy Spirit to reveal meaning. 😊. I recommend getting a Hebrew/ Greek Bible study Bible 💕

Matthew 5:48 Jesus said "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect" so its not an entry requirement but it's the standard Christ asks us to be. I'm just saying this because as Christians sometimes we stay stuck at a stagnant state of carnality or when our flesh seems to run our lives we think it will always defeat us. Jesus modelled perfection to show us it is possible to attain regardless of our past.

i love your videos so much but 12:55 i believe that a journey with God won’t allow you to do both. obviously it won’t always be cupcakes and rainbows, and sometimes it’s not supposed to be fun, it’s supposed to be challenging. he’s trying to get us to detach from worldly things like money, fame, etc. once somebody starts that walk with God, you automatically lose interest in the things that don’t interest him.
