I have a great memory of this song. Once when I was walking home from school, about 2 years ago in the winter (late november), I was listening to this song on my mp3 and when I was about 20 meters away from my house, it started to snow, and I remember I just stopped and looked up at the sky and became very happy (:

Agree with you, this song not about depression and frustation, this song makes you feel calm and peace and makes you think.

I like music that I can lose myself in and music that allows myself to be consumed by my thoughts. This is that music. Couldn't imagine myself without GIAA now...

Insanely gorgeous. The distinct sound of every instrument lifted me and awakened my senses. If I close my eyes while it plays it's like lucid dreaming. I'm teleported to another realm. What a wonderful gift. Keep the music coming. It's amazing.

Not sure if you're familiar with Jim Valvano. He was a basketball coach who died of cancer. Just before he died he gave a speech at the 1993 Espy Awards. He said there are 3 things you should do each day. Laugh, have your emotions moved to tears, and meditate. That's a full day he said. Very inspiring speech, even if you're not a sports person. It's available on KZfaq as well.

What I got out of what he said: This world is full of negative things - suffering, sadness, many things to bring someone down. And Satan. But there is still hope. There is still some beauty in this world. And love, not just between man and woman, but love between friends and family. And God.

this is such an amazing song, the guitar part in the beginning is so intense, the whole build up is art in its purest form! GIAA are the most amazing band ever! I hope you dont see this as spam, but I just think that good music needs to be shared. I found a band on youtube called "Nyctalgia". If you've got time, listen to their song "Lost in timeless horizons" and "Falling into nothingness" Breathtaking and powerful songs by this young talented guy..

Silent, you gaze up into the sky, hoping - with every inch of your being - for world peace and prosperity... as you come to realize the permanency of human sufferings, a lonely tear hugs your skin, sliding down your cheek, and into the earth's core. Sharing your pain, the speechless clouds rain down a hail of frozen tears....

I get it, most people ignore the worlds atrocities. Simply because you ignore something it does not go away. People are more concerned with which celebrities are dating who while we're using more fresh water than we have, we're at war with a country that doesn't want us there, none of our soldiers speak their language, innocents are dying and society just looks the other way.
@ritesofpestilence10 жыл бұрын
I agree with you, check out also "The Time Will Never Come Back" by The Last Days. BUt in this type of music, in my opinion, God Is An Astronaut is the best. My favourite is "Echoes"; sorry for the english, if there is any mistake

when i was in British Columbia in the mountains, this song i kept thinking over and over, music speaks to someone in so many different ways, it's almost undescribeable. to me, this song makes me many different moods, it's what a good song should do to a person. God Is An Astronaut is a genius.
