Once you have some cash piled up, you can go ahead and buy a business. Most business owners who are looking to retire would HAPPILY hold the note on their old business because there’s no risk to them, they already ran that business. If you pay half, and then default, they get your money AND their own business back. You pay them off, and all that cash flow is yours to give with, and live a decent life.
