Yes, if you hold to detonate it not just press to detonate it. Holding triangle does more damage, and can do more damage if the skill labors is completed and purchase bonus upgrade to the skill

It also really fits well with the Trust of Thousand Soldiers Runic Attack too, in my opinion

there are better light runic attacks for the blades like flames of anguish

Artillery of the ancients is the best for spear heavy imo

@@Mari-dz3lv it’s fast but the damage and burn are extremely underwhelming. It’s much better to use the hades retribution unless you want stun, but you shouldn’t be using either of you want stun.

@@snirmor6194 it’s fast and does more damage slightly but honour the fallen has better stun and force, plus it can close the distance between bosses/enemies which is what I think it’s best for

He's in a practice area. Your cooldown is like 10x slower than regular battle.

Nifelheim arena gives you basically no cooldown time

Tbf: 2018 had 37 runics (16 for the axe, 15 for the blades, and 6 for boy); whereas Ragnarok had to make room for a third weapon, Atreus’ own runics besides the summons, and runics for all the new companions (Freya, Brok, Sindri, Angrboda and Ingrid), making 44 total runics for Ragnarok (28 for Kratos, 8 for Atreus, 4 Freya, and one each for Brok, Sindri, Angrboda and Ingrid). I know it feels like Ragnarok doesn’t have enough runic variety, but most of it went to the side companions

A lot of ancient runic attacks are now in the basic attacks of Kratos. They made new and they keep some.

That and Blessings of the Frost for the axe. Had it maxed out so it gave me 20 sec of pure fuckery against anything in the game. It still gets the job done in Ragnarok, but not like before.

They all feel nerfed and weak.

@@Whenchungo07he most likely played Ragnarok at a lower difficulty. Wrath Of The Frost Ancient can still one shoot ancients in No Mercy (that’s the difficulty I first played Ragnarok in)

They have to balance out having 6 runic attacks so that the game isn’t too easy

Exploration, quests etc. There are guides to getting them. Just search on youtube, god of war ragnarok and the name of the runic/relic.
