They put majority of the old runic attacks in the skill trees

@@Joshuaevm true, however I wish they had more variety. In the last game I had a build where I used the runic attack to hit everybody on screen and the perk that hit everybody on the axe recall. Wish they had more variety like that!

@@GeonQuuin Agreed. The cosmetic flexibility is nice when you hit level 9 on an armor set, but that should be there from the start.

Me neither. I thought all the realms were great, and then 3 massive areas were unveiled in VAnaheim by the dog 😂

​@jackc.23 I know right. Unstoppable aura is completely useless in about 98% of scenearios. It was useless in GoW2018 and it is useless in GoWR. I have no idea why they decided to bring it back.

Never really understood the point of NG+ it’s pretty much the same thing all over again. GoW has always been my favorite IP from Sony I have played all of them even the ones for the psp but even my favorite game can’t make me replay it a 2nd time just for the heck of it since nothing changes. But I do see why people like it some people do like playing set game multiple times.

@@cavsfightingroom3692 there's a lot of oddball retcons as well In the first part Mimir said he convinced Odin of his wisdom by getting him high on shrooms and while high he removed his own eye But in the second game it was the primordial crack thing that seared Odin's eye apparently

Did you have to 100% all realms for the throphies because my game is glitched and I can’t complete one of the raider camps in Midgard as I died as I killed the last dude so they won’t respawn but it won’t get marked off

@@KibitoAkuya I thought it was the most odd how half the game is spend worrying about kratos dying in the prophecy, only for it to never come back at the end. Kinda expected him to like almost die and get saved last minute or something along the lines of that but the fact that it wasn't mentioned at all again kinda felt off for me Like a huge build up with no pay off

@@MetalRaimon the prophecy was about Oden, not Kratos. Oden died in Atreus’s arms after he took his soul. You stopped hearing about the prophecy when Kratos and Atreus decided to ignore it.

@@lego12682 nope I have played it Maybe excessively too much, ended up getting that on my switch too, there's heaps of extra stuff on switch version as well, I wish the rest of the console family got that content, that games dangerous, very addictive gameplay

He was wrong it doesn't make you invulnerable just your attacks can't be interrupted.

that one is still in the game but its apart of spartan rage (wrath), does some nice dmg

@@jaxmillion its still there, im not sure how to do it, but I think you hold L1 and press down, was trying to switch weapons while holding shield and it happened a few times by accident

i think thats because hes in the niflheim fighting arena, its reduced time for all attacks there, i was confused because my stats were higher but cooldown times were longer

you can pick whatever armor appearance you want for equipped stuff, go to the right in the armor menu and there should be a customize appearance button. I use the ravens tear or berzerker cosmetics for all of mine

Some of the berserkers are too hard even on easy. I'm trying to do the one with svipdagr the cold and the sisters of illska. I'm on the easiest difficulty, and I have the steinbjorn armor with nearly maxed defense, and I have a resurrection stone that gives you rage, and I have the rage that gives you back health when you use it, and I turned on the mini-boss checkpoints where when you die, they come back at reduced health based on the damage you did, and I've gotten used to a lot of the attack patterns, and it's STILL way too hard. Not just too hard but way too hard, to the point where it feels impossible. They don't even get close to dying. And this is with the absolute most forgiving settings possible.

@@Kratosx23 yea the game will still require you to press the appropriate buttons but lowering your difficulty will make the bosses less aggressive and will allow you to take less damage while getting hit. Also it will take more hp out of their Health bar with every attack.

Really? I think I liked the mechanics of the first more. Like the menu,.the store, the set up of everything seemed better .sometimes I feel like the controls don't work..almost like I'm hitting too fast. I be using the Axe, use a runic then try and switch to my spear and he like switches to it, then I will go to aim and I'm still holding an axe .shit like that.

@@xumiohd288 I like the mechanics of Ragnarok, but overall the 2018 game for me was a better game especially the story. The peaks hit better, there are far more memorable lines in the 2018 game, the valkyrie battle set up is much better than Ragnarok's Berserkers, Niflheim and Muspelheim were actual tests instead of the tacked on Ragnarok Muspelheim gauntlet and convoluted second part, at no point did the 2018 game feel like a chore compared to Ragnarok's Atreus Angorboda Jotunheim, Atreus' Asgard sections or Vanaheim, and the massive scale boss fights were superb especially the final battle with Baldur. Ragnarok has better enemy variety, but if only Ragnarok had plenty of massive scale boss fights then I would have rated it higher than the 2018 game 😔
