Gameplay focused on the Axe throughout the entirety of the run on Master Difficulty.
This was recorded from our live video and is the best build I've come across so far for the Axe.
Must have perks (If possible):
Runic Attacks (recommended)
Breath of Thamur (Thanos)
Hell's Touch
Permafrost lifesteal
Slayers Might (Blessing of Strength on Axe Kill)
Windstorm (L1+R1 or L1+R2 causes a frost storm) SUPER RARE TO FIND..

Love the gameplay my Guy! I could never use the axe so well, I love the blades 😈 Tip, Tyr’s dual blades also blinds I hate it too! But you can hear him and see the flash of light before he attacks *sounds like a blade sharpening* to know when to dodge so u can save the rage and not run around. Also with great sword weapon, when he sends those waves of light you can parry those, but if u don’t perfect parry the first 2, u have to use rage or u dont recover in time to dodge for the 3 rd wave.

Have you noticed any change in the new patch? The patch 5.003. They said it would have some encounters "balanced" to be difficult. As if it was not already hard... every hard mode is easy with GBG, but the developers watch gbg stream and say "it is too easy, lets make it harder for him". Well, great footage of your skills, but it is backfiring at us noobies hahaha

It buffs that thing you get when you dont get hit and do damage. When the axe gets frost, the blades turn red and the spear gets this twirly thing on its edge. So I guess more damage and more frost/burn/stun (depending on the weapon)

Yo, GBG. In the last part, why didn't you destroy slayer's strength? Since you only get the buff from kills, it's not beneficial in the last two boss fights since you only get the buff at the end of the fight, which is useless.

personally I dont use the reroll token when I do runs, I just feel like its cheating in a way, no hate on anyone that does I just think it makes it that much harder and really comes down to RNG and adapting to what choices the run gives you.

I think it's one of the last skills u unlock on that "tree". Basically if u do any attack with the blades or the shield and then stand still for a short time you can instantly fully charge the "blade slam" by pressing triangle. I think it's one of the best attacks in the game. Good luck!

@@Django84 He's glitching. He can do runic attacks and normal attacks at same time, and other combos that you can't do normally. This Is the equivalent of cheating.

@@danielsan5134 I be totally honest as someone who loves runic canceling of course there is a benefit to it but runic cancels also have way harder inputs than any combo you can do normally. Using them in combat is hard in itself so you have to put in the work to do so. So i see it more as a showcase of skill than abusing something broken in the game, if GBG wanted that he could've just spamed the op triangle-R2 move from the blades. That is a "legit" strat but its 10x times more boring than GBG's playstyle.
