I was a young man that was once in strict adherence to these teachings. But somewhere along the way i lost my way thinking i could follow my heart and do what i feel like doing. Believe me when i say that everything that came from this message is true. I pray that men are paying attention to this. My ex left my boys and I after 14 years and it nearly killed me. He chased his heart and his desires and I've never known so much pain. Women and alcohol even when I was praying for a miracle. What it did to my boys was irreversible. I listened to MY heart and not God and married him. Never again. I am now waiting for God's choice for me and not my own.

number 5 is so true that is what the world teaches and what satan wants you to believe. But it is Gods grace and mercy alone that gives you the ability to seek out a better lifestyle because you are not defined by it.

Great message! I have to be honest and admit that I usually show interest in a woman who I find physically attractive because that is what gets me initially interested in a woman in the first place. I think most men would agree that we are wired (or maybe programmed by our environment) to feel attraction towards a woman by her physical beauty before we have an attraction to her personality and character. From what women have told me the opposite is generally true for them. They usually become more interested in a man by his masculinity and personality before they are physically attracted to him. This is why woman are more willing to settle for men that are less attractive then themselves and why men usually are not willing to settle for someone they feel is less attractive then them. I guess the saying goes...Men fall in love with their eyes and women fall in love with their ears. I believe this to be true in our culture. In my experience, it is very difficult for a man to show interest in a woman he is not physically attracted to. We can't help who we are attracted to...but I do think it is important to not put so much emphasis on physical beauty Instead we should put more focus on finding someone who shares our values and beliefs and common interests which will be much more important in a long term relationship and marriage.
