what was the point Mr Bennett wanted to bring about, the goodness of God is undeniable, and eternal. Some will accept it, thanks to His provision, but many will never accept it (Rev. 9:20)...and so what, God's goodness will not change.

Can I have medicine for a fever? I rebuked the fever in Jesus’ name, I sang psalms, but my body still felling bad, so I took a pill of antipyretic to feeling better. Dose it ok?

Hi Brother Barry! As always love the word you bring - but I have a question with regard to this particular study- 1) If as you say that all that the unbeliever / wicked / unjust / the evil enjoys is from God, then why would they even want to know Jesus Christ and be saved? Salvation as the bible teaches is NOT ONLY for the sweet by and by but it is for the here and now too, right? I ask these questions because I live in a country that is exactly like the times in which the 1st Century Christians like the disciples and the Apostle Paul lived in - worship of idols and all forms of religious systems - and they all believe it is their gods that are blessing them hand over fist and if they are not enjoying good things, then it is just fate playing its part or bad karma from a past life. Hence would it not be possible that we are missing some point in terms of understanding the statements that Jesus made pre-Cross on the subject of it raining on the just and unjust (Matthew 5:45 / Luke 6:35 & such) as it make the goodness of God counterproductive, isn't it? I see one way of understanding this goodness of God as in terms of the Covenant God made with Noah which still operates in the world - Genesis 8:22 “"As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease." . ” But even this scripture will not be accepted by the unbeliever / wicked / unjust / evil as coming from the Living God - but as a blessing from their gods! So how will such people understand Who it is that is truly good to them?
