If we read our Bibles we will grow! (1 Peter 2:2) Who does not want to grow up! It's almost magical that the more we read and obey, the more we grow, just like that baby drinking milk. Thank you, Dennis for the encouragement to read our Bibles! God has given us all the nourishment we need to be successful in this life! We will get sick without it.

Takes more than just reading. You do mention obedience - yes, faith without works is dead. The devil has read and memorized the Bible, yet he will be thrown into the Lake of Fire. Your use of the word "magical" is of the devil. The devil invented magic and luck, among many other words and beliefs.

@@justinamusyoka4986 It is appointed once to die (physically) and then the judgment. That's my point. God does not physically heal every believer. There are no promises in the Bible that assure the believer that every time he is sick or ill, that he is going to recover. God appointed a day for you to be born and He appointed a day for you to die (physically). This does not even touch on spiritual death. But, for someone to be making a claim that when you ask God to heal you - that you are always going to be healed - is not true. In the past there has been hundreds, if not thousands, of nutjobs running around making these kinds of claims. In this day and age, they are typically called "faith healers" - every single one of them is a "fake healer".

@@kathyern861 I agree with you,we'd faith healers using the Bible but themselves being used by the devil because what they claimed to do or accomplish,ended undone and the victims they preyed on died after abandoning medication.I was even pushing for this charlatans to be exposed ,put on trial and their wealth returned to the public so that this game plan ceases once and for all. I know most people after being scammed became terrified and started doubting Christianity and others left it altogether but we can not throw away the baby with the bathwater. My point is that we know our creator exists and loves us ,gave us His word as roadmap as we navigate through life rough terrain.So if we believe He can not fail us and we approach His throne in that belief,I'm sure we can not be disappointed 💯, Something must happen according to His Will upon us. Approaching the throne with doubts is failure from the onset. Remember the exodus journey,those who started doubts on the way never reached the promised land. Finally,at some age,we thank our creator for this life journey assuming we'd enough of our share and not expecting much but to rest in peace at the appointed time after blessing our children. I’ve heard Romans 16:25-27, KJV, is supposed to tell you what order in which to read the Bible. And Romans 1-4 is how to be justified, especially Romans 3:24-26, KJV, PCE. Thank you.

Without the background in the Old Testament, we are missing things that give us a fuller understanding the New Testament. We need to read and understand the whole Bible. God wrote the Old Testament for His chosen people, and dispersed them out of the land that He had given to them from 70 AD to their return 1948. We are grafted into His promises that were given to His chosen people through Jesus. Jesus came to save all. Make sure that you don't miss the whole story!

In a way it does. Even if you die of cancer, if you have spent your life "feeding on Jesus" you will go to be with the Lord where you will have no cancer, nor can you ever have it again.

@@SunshineCatwoman Jesus did not heal my friend of cancer. He was a regenerated believer who I know asked Jesus to heal him. I recall myself along with other believers asking Jesus to heal him. He died of what cancer did to his body. Jesus does not heal everyone. The Apostle Paul came to Jesus and asked Him three times to heal him. Jesus did not heal Paul. Jesus said to Paul, "My grace is sufficient for you." All of the other apostles, except John, died violent deaths - neither were they healed. And, I can go on and on giving examples of other believers who were not healed. Sorry, but you are wrong.

I hate to be that snarky YT commenter but, the thumbnail is disconcerting. In context, it looks like the black children are on the menu. Seriously. And the image of them itself is just out of place, leaving no other conclusion. Why children in the thumbnail at all? Jesus did say to come to him as little children but still…very weird and strange thumbnail.

Our issue is sin. Eternal Life in Heaven is God's desire for us all. Romans 6:23: "The wages of sin is death", we All earned our paycheck, some day some way. The harder the hearts in this rebellious against God world, in these prophecied End Times, the harder the shakings necessary to turn people from relying on the things of this fallen world and finding true life, in the one who died for our sins and gave us His gift of Eternal Life.
