Dear sister, the Jacob story here is all about a guy who doesn’t believe he’s going to get God’s blessing, so he spends his life hurting everyone around him instead of trusting God. Jacob wasn't fighting an angel, he was fighting God. (Gen 32: 22-31) The best way to fight is to SURRENDER to God. Fighting it with our own strength will only exhaust us, but surrendering it to the LORD, and leaving all the consequences to Him will give us the peace of Jesus. Let go of control and let God take over. God bless you!

I lost my house to foreclosure in 2011. I tried many times to apply for a home and was told no. I gave up and settled for an apartment. I didn't see how I would get a new house. I receive this word. I have also been sick with depression since then. I will fight for my health, my new home, and a new beginning. Thank you Holy Spirit.

Jacob wasn't fighting an angel, he was fighting God. (Gen 32: 22-31) Manifestation is dangerous because the enemy can use it to give us false hopes, which can then lead us to resent God if we don't get what we want. The best way to fight is to SURRENDER our desires/dreams to God. Fighting it with our own strength will only exhaust us, but surrendering it to the LORD, and leaving all the consequences to Him will give us the peace of Jesus. Let go of control and let God take over. You don't need to prayer harder, you only need to pray. (Romans 8:26) You don't need to ask harder, you only need to ask. God bless you!

So true. Sometimes God did not answer instantly, that’s what I learned waiting on God. Because In the past when I fast after 7days or even 3days God answered my prayers, but now when God set me apart, some of my biggest prayers it didn’t come to pass quickly, and now I understand that God wants me to rely on him and depend and learn to “patiently and endure waiting” thank you so much for sharing! Yes, that’s absolutely right and I totally agree that surrendering is how we fight 🙏🏻 Daniella mentioned to write in the comments “I am getting ready to fight for it!” So that’s why I wrote that. But I completely agree that surrendering to God everyday is a way we can fight in the spirit. I think also it’s keeps our hearts humble before God, giving up control and agreeing with His will for our lives, not trying to lean on our own understanding or plans.
