I have fallen short, in ways, of not being merciful to those (even in my own family) and God has convicted me deeply of this. He has me brokenhearted over this, seeking forgiveness and repentance. I am in a deep season of lamenting. My God is full of grace and mercy and I, too, want to be the same. Lord…help me to love others, as you love them. For you love me, a sinner, unrighteous. Jesus lead me and show me your ways…

The two words could be connected. I'm ex-Navy. I was on a NATo tour in the Gulf of Oman because of the piracy activity from Somalia. They would commandeer Cargo ships coming out of the Red Sea. As it turns out, many companies throughout the world, including US, Canada, EU, had secretly made partnerships with these pirates and built offices in Somalia because they made money off of that. There is a website that keeps tracks of all the Cargo ships and what cargo they carry, so they would tip off the pirates. It was pointless for Nato to be out there because in international waters law, the nation that the military ship belongs to that captures the pirates would have to bring them to their nation to be prosecuted and no gov't wants that, so quite often, a blind eye was turned. Now, most carry their own security forces on board these Cargo ships.

I was in prayer this morning and the Lord's attention was at the leaders and he said they are more greedy for gain than they are hungry for righteousness and they cause their nations to be put through the fire for their own greed. Good Morning off topic I have a prayer for someone in need, I don’t know his name but God does he is a little boy in between 9 and 11. I witnessed his Father or Adult in charge of speaking to him in such a horrible way that could hurt this little guy for the rest of his life he may not be able to forgive or even grow up with enough self Love. He was cussed at forced to keep walking up stairs with heavy boxes and bags over and over all while the man was throwing them at him while calling him ignorant and stupid. I finally had to say something the man was very angry from time he pulled up I think it was his whole demeanor I am worried for the little boy I was worried as soon as he had to leave alone with the man, he has been on my thoughts since then. I need someone to plant a seed in this little boys heart that God Loves him.

I mentioned earlier in my comments that the context in Luke 6:37 to 38 is about judgment not ministry and I'm correct on this verse. The measure that Christ is refering to is the measure of judgment that we give out to others, that same measure will measured against us. ( the lens that Christ is looking through here is judgment, I just want people to understand that this has not changed) Troy it appears you are telling people ( this is about 6 minutes and 10 seconds into your video) that Christ has changed this to be about giving to others and I know that was not your intention, it just seemed to come over that way. I have no doubt that the measure we use in the way we treat people and in the way we give to others will also be measured to us, but Luke 6:38 is about the same measure of judgment we use will be measurrd back to us, just in case people start to think differently on this verse.
