My mom grew up during WW 2 and remembers when women had to go to work in the factories, because men were usually overseas to fight in the war. Mom always said...things changed so drastically after that...women no longer felt the need to stay home & raise the kids...they could go and get a job...etc. It ruined the family dynamic!

Troy, God showed me about forgiveness and about letting God fight our battles. Forgiveness I had a sister-in-law who wouldn't stop hurting me. God told me to pray for her and I was but not passionately One time I was praying for my daughter because of her difficulties. God told me I didn't pray for my sister-in-law that way. I said, "God, you know what she does, you know. " He told me that I learned to hate her one offense at a time so I needed to work backwards and think of one thing good about her. It worked!! I'm able to pray earnestly for her. Then when my husband was in the hospital some nurses were mean to him and to me. Something happened between him and a male nurse while he was still under anesthesia and it was bad. I was so angry. I prayed and asked God to teach me to fight his way. I spoke to my aunt who told me to be nice to the nurses and be friends. That was hard since they refused to get me a bed to sleep in and they stopped giving him painkillers even though his chest had been cut open and bones were cut to get to his heart. They refused to get respiratory to connect the CPAP machine that helps him breathe when he stops breathing up to 200 times per night! I found him in a chair crying one day. He was hurting so badly. Then I realized that they call out the meds and hadn't given him anything for pain that entire day. Well, I did make friends and things got better. So the last night he was there he started yelling at the nurse. After all I'd been through I was upset with him. I told him,"I can't defend you if you're going to be bad too!" The Lord said,"You either." That's when I realized that God will fight our battles unless we are being bad too. It's kinda like when two kids are fighting...a mom can't take either side if they're both being bad. That's not all I learned. See, you can either pray during an argument or conflict and have the Lord help you or you will have to have him help you clean up the mess you make trying to do it yourself. PRAY IN THE STORM. 35 years ago, my husband tried to kill me. He grabbed me by the underarms and flung me over the balcony railing, Then he grabbed me by the wrists and flung me down on the deck, saving me from a 50 foot drop into a ravine. It took me over 6 years to recover from the PTSD that this event caused. Needless to say, I divorced this husband (who professed to be a Christian), and vowed never to marry again. I even asked the Lord to help me in this promise. So I have been celibate for all these years. It has not been easy. I have been called a lesbian, a Jezebel, and defiant against God because I wanted to live a single, celibate life, dedicated to Jesus. And Jesus has NEVER disappointed. I don't like what men have said about me, but Paul said, "we wrestle not against flesh and blood..." So I don't blame men for what they have unwittingly said. I believe that the problem stems from what happened in the Garden of Eden. God came to Adam and Eve, and asked what they had done. Adam blamed his sin on Eve ("the woman that thou gavest me...") But Eve accused the serpent - TO HIS FACE that the serpent had deceived her. I believe that this was the beginning of enmity between woman and satan. And now that satan's time is short, he's working extra hard to destroy women.

When I meet men, I am told.. you are pretty but you don't have a man, there must be something wrong with you. It's sad. Humble ourselves before God

I had a similar Epiphany of evil seeking the extremes trying to influence us from one extremity the other in every aspect of life. Especially in these times, in politics, race issues that shouldn't be and certainly sexual morality. Reactionary, extreme to extreme. Thanks for the realisation that forgiveness deactivates that pendulum. I've always practiced it and given it to God, as difficult as it is, intuitively we can know that but the clarity as to how that works and how Holy spirit uses that in the bigger picture are my epiphanies of the day thanks to hearing this.

Please pray for my son-in - law, himey, he's turned in a cold heart against his wife and family, because of a beautiful baby and his father that is my grandson and great grandson. They are good people. I pray he turns back his heart ❤️ before its too late. I love him too!

Ufff. This is wild! Crazy crazy crazy. Good word Troy. I'll be honest. Part of this makes me sad to write but God is Good and God at the end. Men have hurt us in so many ways. And in Latino culture, we are so shielded by the dangers of men that we built so much armor and so much pain. We hope they will do better and anytime they mess up, we have to put our guards up and keep going. I don't have the cure for men. My fiance. So a while ago I felt God saying I must sit with the book of Jonah and write about it. Last week Friday I felt him urge me to type up that writing. It’s very long. But pulling a root of bitterness felt like it came through strongly for me. Here is some of what I wrote. I am sure there are errors but it’s what God highlighted to me. ‘ Jonah comes around and miraculously the entire city repents, Jonahs response is anger that God relents, that God shows Mercy. Jonah wants these people punished, they are the “others” the last thing he wants is to see God pour out His loving kindness and grace on them.. He want to see them punished? WOW that seems extreme, but do we harbour a ‘serves them right’ attitude? Do we want God to withhold blessing and forgiveness from certain people or groupings? I know this is a complex Issue cos God is a God of justice, so I am not minimising that. But how do our hearts feel about grace? Even after miraculous save by the whale and the city is saved by grace. Jonah is still stewing angrily. He isnt celebrating the new life of the city, he isnt revelling in their regeneration. He is angry and watching from a distance. IS there something in your heart that you need to deal with so that you can celebrate what God is doing in others? Can you revel in God’s grace for you and for others? Or do you want to continue to sit in anger, bitterness and judgement. Jonahs fickle emotions: wants to see destruction, happy about the vine then sucidal. Jonah is just like me, letting circumstance dictate our emotional state. There is a saying feelings are information, not facts. So jonah is back to being angry, and circumstances do affect us, but Jonah is blind to what God is showing through the circumstances, therefore the circumstances are devastating to him. IfJonah had seen with spiritual eyes, he might have seen these circumstances were a trial but there were for a greater purpose in his life, but also in our life. Jonah sat and justified himself in his anger. There are times in my life when i have experience injustice and i have had reason to be angry, at the sin of others, at injustice. I have also known that i have needed to release that bitterness and give it to God, full of grace and mercy and love to deal with. Else my bitterness like a worm wouldnt just have eaten up the vines and circumstances around me, it would have eaten me up too. There is a place for justice, a place for righteousness anger, but dont let the worm come and eat you up...

All Glory to Holy Trinity!!!! My neighbors make a ton of idols. they over indulge into my private life and it is annoying. I forgave them, but then they did it over and over. its annoying. My neighbors create idols to actually overly read my private life and i have had enough. So tired of them hurting my family. They been fornicating on m e and my son for years. they do it over and over for revenge. Then my neighbor attacked me physically. Then they attacked the police with Satan to try and get away with their wrong actions. They call the evil things they create babies. Demons are evil not babies. Then they lied to police about me, and then they created a graven image on a tree near by. Sadly they have tried to break every commandment in the ten commandments. I dislike it very much. They are making a idol on me typing this right now. that is how evil it is. They dont let go of things that they should not know about anyways. They get angery at info they should nto have, and then revenge me on it via the "events". I am allowed to be righteous. I'm allowed to not like fornication on me and my son. I'm allowed to not like them physically attacking me and lieing about me and gossiping about me. I have gotten mad at it, I mostly have patience but sometimes i am just human being and get upset. It's time to grow up Troy. Stop apologizing if someone is upset about what you post. If what you are saying is God's truth from God's mouth than just say it and stand by it. Your weakness is that you don't want anyone to not like you. So even at the expense of God's word, you are trying to apologize and play both sides which never turns out good.
