So, here it is.. How to Make a Good Confession.
Why Confession?
Sacramental Confession.. the Sacrament of Reconciliation..or Penance, is the only ordinary means of the forgiveness of serious sins after Baptism, that the Church knows of. The only ORDINARY means.. I didn't say the ONLY means, I said Confession is the only ORDINARY way to have Serious Sins.. Mortal Sins, forgiven after Baptism.
Do you know what a Mortal Sin is?
What are the Three Constitutive Parts of a Mortal Sin?
There are Three Things that have to be in place Simultaneously for a Sin to be considered a Mortal Sin, objectively taken, not considering the subjective state of the individual, mitigating circumstances and so forth.
What are they?
Well, first, it has to be Grave Matter.. Serious Matter;
Second, you have to have Knowledge, you have to have Knowledge that this is Serious Sin;
Third, you have to give Full Consent of the Will in the Light of that Knowledge.
Those three things!
Grave Matter; Knowledge; Full Consent of the Will in the Light of that Knowledge.
That's a Mortal Sin. What does a Mortal Sin do?
A Mortal Sin kills the life of Grace in the Soul, a Mortal Sin separates you from God, a Mortal Sin prevents you from having any merit in the sight of God.
Whereas, if you are in a State of Grace, everything you do, all the good things you do, they add up to Supernatural Value, like a Treasure in Heaven. But you are not accumulating any Treasure in Heaven even if you are doing some good things, if you're not in a State of Grace.
In order to have Supernatural Value you have to be in a State of Grace.

I’ve been blessed to have watched and learned from Fr. Corapi for the years he was on TV. Since he is no longer on TV, I watch all the videos of his seminars over and over again. I feel very comforted by him knowing that he is telling the truth especially with all the evil surrounding humanity in this year 2021. The Catholic Church has lost and is still losing many priests because they teach the traditional Catholic Doctrine. Their Superiors forbid them to ever preach again to souls in need. We must support and protect these priests who are being tossed out in the street like garbage. We must do something about that now.

Yes! Return to tradition! 🙏💗🙏. Daily evening Masses are needed, so more people can attend! As we use to have it! Open accessible Adoration chapels, so the Lord can speak to us at all times, as he is waiting there! Don’t hurry God! We don’t know when he’s going to come, but He’s right on time🙏 Be a Saint😇

Thank you, Fr Corapi. This video just popped up on my phone at a time in my life that I really needed your help. I was taught all that, but in these times when I am homebound and it is difficult to get a priest to come over for Confession and the Eucharist, I really appreciate your teaching. I ask God every day to please send me a Priest before He takes me from this life. God bless you! ❣️🇺🇸☘️🌹📿✝️❣️

God bless you Father, It is a wonderful message. I wish all world hear rgis message and receive the grace from this sacrament. I pray for all Catholics including me to be a good Catholic and love Christ in Sacraments. God bless you Father. I wish all teenage and new generation listen this valuable talk and take it serious. Who follow and put in practice their life is blessed. I can speak from my own experience . The joy and peace when you start loving Jesus and love Jesus in Eucharist and other sacraments. Do confession out of love towards Jesus , the pleassure and joy you receive can not be replaced with any material things or any thing or any one in this world.

Excelent topic. We, Catholics need to hear more about this Sacrament, this is the key for Salvation. No good Confession no worthy reception of the Holy Eucharist equals condemnation. I wish the Bishops insist more upon the priests to teach about the Sacraments (all of them) to the faithful. Many people sin (or lack God’s grace) out of ignorance or negligence on the part of the bad pastors. Sorry for being so blunt, but I really resent the indifference of our leaders. May God give us more priests like Fr. Corapi.🙏🙏🙏

It is most difficult to do an honest confession in 10 min. For me as a woman to confess to a priest (a strange man) certain things are quite embarrassing, specially if you are doing a GENERAL CONFESSION. I felt I needed to truly have repentance and never committ the same sin over and over again because I can get a 10 min confession and be forgiven over and over. I love Father Corapi he is the real Spiritual Team.

Father i miss you. All the topics you talk about i never hear in the sermons in church. Which is sad, because you have people who proably have no knowledge of what there faith is. Example confession and purgatory. I know a priest who does not even believe in purgatory. That when we die we go to heaven. And i am willing to believe that there is quit a few who believe the same.
