m wondering if I can easily get into hi3 as a newbie. Im planning to play it

Not exactly easy but it's not the hardest thing ever. Personally I'd advise you start now so you can finish most of the Starter Manual and get all the rewards on the old content now - you'd have to do the first 3 chapters regardless to hit lvl30 and unlock direct access to Part 2 if that's what you're after. Clear as much of the beginner content and save up the crystal so you have a decent stockpile when 7.3 drops at the end of the month. Alternatively you can make some decent progress if you're interested in Part 1 story. You can easiliy clear up to ch.6 on day one. Up to the end of 9 on day two and then you can knock off a couple of chapters per day up to about ch.25. The Open World arcs are a bit messier but I think you can do them in a several hours each. It'd be kind of nuts but you COULD clear all of Part 1 in a month.
