Switzerland Rhine Falls is the most powerful waterfall in all of Europe and one of the most popular places to visit in Switzerland. This popular tourist attraction has over one million visitors each year, who all come to see not only the Rhine Falls in Switzerland but the stunning landscape and villages that surround the Rhine River.The Rhine River Falls is found on a stretch of the Rhine River known as the High Rhine. This is where the waters cascade down to a lower level, creating the picturesque Rhine Water Falls. The falls are just a single drop waterfall, however with a width of 150 metres and a height of 23 metres, its size is impressive. Visitors are blown away by the sheer power of the Rhine Falls, particularly during the summer, when the water flows at an impressive rate of 600,000 litres per second. During the winter the falls still flow at a rate of 250,000 litres per second.

I think so, swiss travel pass includes all boat ride in Switzerland. I have not used so I cannot confirm. For viewing points you don't have to pay just boat fare.

I went to the Rhine Falls and I thought they were wonderful and yes I've already seen Niagara Falls before that it's not the same but that's not the point. It's still a great deal of water and it's still very beautiful and comforting to watch. Nature is wonderful

Hi Godew, Do i need to book roundtrip e.g no.2 to get to the viewing platform near to the castle? Or is it possible to take e.g. roundtrip no.1 to get to the middle peak platform and afterwards go for a walk to get to the castle viewing platform? Thanks

I went by car, there is train direct form Zurich central station and i won't advice to go by bus. The place is big and it will take almost more that half day to see and do everything in Rhine falls, Enjoy your trip

Hi, there are many stairs, I would not suggest to go by stairs as they are mostly wet. There is Elevator, but not sure if the water spot accessible with wheelchair. I went through south bank please check from north bank side.

Hi, I went with my 4 year old son. Although they will give life jackets, please keep tight along with you. else is fine because water flow is extremely high.

How can we reach Rhine falls from Zurich?

By Train you'll need to depart from Zürich Hauptbahnhof (Zurich HB Main Station) and get off at one of two stations: SBB railway station Neuhausen am Rheinfall or SBB railway station Schloss Laufen am Rheinfall. Both stations are about 50 minutes away from Zurich and an equal distance to the falls but on opposite sides of the river. Once you get off the train, exit the station, and the falls will just be a few minutes away. By Car, just follow google it will take you. There is big parking space so no worry. and By bus I have no idea. Hope you enjoy your trip.

Yes, if you are swimmer. cause high current will take you way far 😁

@ aboodaldawood4475 🚩🚩🚩It's life-threatening and therefore FORBIDDEN to jump into the Rhine Falls basin because the frothy river water after the Rhine Falls contains a lot of air. Therefore, swimmers hardly have any buoyancy. Besides, there are water rollers in this basin.
