But someone who has been in the church for at least 6 months should have some understanding about giving unto the Lord. So ok, in light of Cleflo Dollar's confession of his mis teachings of tithing to his church and Bishop Woodens dispute of what Cleflo says now, my other question would be then who's teaching the truth when it comes to those after 6 months of being in church? Who's giving true understanding of scripture to those of 6 months, when it comes to these leaders who's responsible for feeding the sheep the right way then how does 6 months give understandings when you might be sitting under years of wrong teachings????

If those are ignored while also ignoring the Holy Spirit and living a lukewarm christian lifestyle themselves they will sit in a church for years and get just enough to stay excited but fall flat on their face when the truth is revealed. God has been tugging on people’s hearts wanting to reveal “truth” to people. But the pastor had more influence so He let them have what they wanted and look at the results

Exactly! The church of god in Christ built their whole financial institutions on tithes. They use the Malachi 3 scripture to put fear into people for them to give. It’s funny how tithe is the only part of the law they keep from the Old Testament.

One thing you have to ask yourself. Did Dr. Dollar's statement create confusion? God is not the author of confusion. 1 Corinthians 14:33 Remember deception will always have a measure of truth otherwise you would reject it outright. Generous giving sounds like New Age practices. New Age has crept into the church manifesting, love and light, confessions, energy and most recently "Christian witches".

This is not a new argument...some that Christians disagree on is baptism, the holy spirit, the rapture, speaking in tongues etc To me the confusion comes from Preachers not telling sinners that they cant give to God. Paul never mentioned paying tithes when it came to giving either. Regardless of how you think about it, giving to God has to from the heart.

Does the word of God not tell us to forsake not the assembling of yourselves together. How do you think those expenses are handled friend? Utilities, trash removal, salaries, security, toilet paper, soap, snow removal, housekeeping especially during COVID. Even if it's an "online event" you still need wi fi and some type of subscription to host people. Muslims receive 10% that's how they can build the Mosque 🕌 you see. The Jewish community gives as well. Only the numb skull Christians are having a debate about tithing. Conquer from within, and the devil is havinga field day. God gives us a 100% of all that we have and we can't faithfully support the work of the ministry because of fear and selfish motives. The Bible says we see and know in part, everything about God is not limitedto the Bible. The whole book is about faith, and yet Christians cannot exercise faith in their finances. When we stop doing church and religion and start doing kingdom, the church will be something. Why are we fighting over tithing when the money we have don't even belong to us. Just like the physical body suit God loaned you to step out of eternity with him and enter into time and space. You are on earth for God's purposes and plans NOTHING else. So EVERYTHING you "own" is from him. When God asked you to surrender your life to his will it included everything. Will you be obedient and walk according to his plan and purposes or after your earthly wisdom. Have you asked God about the money he gives you?

Jesus lived humbly. He always told His disciples to not pack anything. The Levites maintain the synagogue, and was commanded by God to own nothing and to simply maintain the House of God. Pastors don't follow Jesus' example or of His disciples, or that of the Levites BUT want to use earlier Biblical folks of their tithes. Interesting.

The rainbow symbol was a promise to Noah that God would never destroy the earth again with water. The LBGQ community took this symbol to represent themselves. He's taking it back with the JESUS pride flag.

If you’re being brow beaten with tithing and you you’re giving (tithing) out of necessity or anger because someone is standing on the pulpit watching your every move that’s not Holiness. Give as you purpose in your heart according to what you have. As long as the earth remains seed,time and harvest.

The original purpose of the rainbow was a symbol God gave Noah after he destroyed the earth with water. He had Noah build an ark and the floods destroyed everything. The rainbow represented God's promise to never destroy the earth with water again. The LBGQ community have used the rainbow as their symbol so he's taking it back with the rainbow flag saying Jesus pride.
