I look forward to seeing the pre-Bible study messages and the famous drumroll at the end! I love my Bishop, First Lady, and all of the Upper Room COGIC Family! I’m so glad that the Lord led me here! I first saw Bishop Wooden back in early 2023. It was a short of a message he was preaching about marijuana and although I was born again, I wasn’t living like it! I started smoking marijuana and actually convinced myself that I wasn’t doing anything wrong that “smoking” made me more in tune with God. He preached that it was a sin and how it alters your sense of reality. I’ve heard messages before, but ignored them, but it was something about this particular message that was different. It penetrated my spirit and I was convicted and I right after the message, I repented asking Yahweh for forgiveness, and haven’t smoked since! After that, I didn’t see him anymore and I didn’t get his name, nor the name of the church. I said that if he was in Raleigh, that I’d join this church! It was about a year later that I saw another clip of him preaching and I said, “that’s him!” I looked up the name of the Upper Room, and discovered that y’all were actually in Raleigh, not to far from where I lived the whole time, but since I didn’t see it on you tube I kinda forgot about it. But God, He didn’t forget about it or me! I started going in late January, joined and been going strong ever since! Not only is Bishop Wooden Anointed, but so are the people whom he has to preach when he’s absent like Elder Evans and Evangelist Walcott! Elder Evans, the Holy Ghost preached mightily through him last Thursday and Evangelist Walcott, the Holy Ghost preached mightily through her tonight! May the Hand of God continue to be upon you, First Lady, the First Family, the Elders, Evangelists, Missionaries, Mothers, The choir, musicians, and everyone else in Jesus Name! I’m proud to be under this covering! Watching you, First Lady, and all the others on the pulpit exude such courage has strengthened my faith and my courage to proclaim the Gospel and stand firmly for righteousness! God I know my faith in you will get me through my hardships I’ve been facing with my sons as a single mother. Both of my sons are special needs and require much from me. Lord I’m trusting your plan but as I struggle to pay bills every month and as I struggle to buy groceries I ask that you give me strength to hold my head up because I’m ashamed.
