@@peterkrug2327 it's called the Kynee, it's one of Hades symbols (in Greek mythology, it was created by the Cyclops after the Titanomachy) and it's mentioned in ancient texts

I mean, Hades has always been my favorite God. He is always staying away from drama and probably took the job because nobody wanted it. And he's the only God who was loyal to his wife all the time. There was an episode with Mint, but she was the one trying to flirt with him and he was oblivious. Persephone just transformed her into a herb. Edit: Oh, I posted this before I saw the episode. I'm glad that they integrated the story.

For those of you who don’t know the meaning of Hera’s peacocks name: Just as another Thursday, Zeus cheated on Hera and just when he noticed Hera is nearby, Zeus turned the girl Io into a cow to hide her from Hera but Hera easily notices Io is shapeshifted so Hera puts one of her loyal servants to guard Io’s prison. The reason why she chose Argus is because Argus has eyes all over his body so nothing can get past his sight but Zeus sends Hermes to kidnap Io back and Hermes puts all the eyes Argus has to sleep and kills him. Hera actually feels bad about it because he died of his loyalty so Hera takes All of Argus’ eyes out and places them into the tail of her peacock which gives the tail that known pattern. I absolutely love everything about this cartoon, it’s so detailed.

Guys understand he is working on the animation ALONE. Of Course it takes more time alone. I work with the same program and we are a team of 10 people so we are able to release 1 episode per Month... he really deserves a heads up for doing the animation and compositing Part all alone. If i would not have this fulltime job i would love to help an old school friend out T___T

As someone who knows a bunch about Greek mythology, I'm loving the multiple references and character moments of these episodes, like Minthe disguising herself as a mint plant, Hades using his helmet of invisibility, Hera naming her pet peacock Argos, Artemis sitting next to the cyrinean hind, the fact Athena was the only one not affected by Eris's power of discord and how she went against Ares.

Fellas. Yes, this is inaccurate. Yup, most students shown are actually children of Zeus. Yeah, the pacing needs some work. But geez, this is made for entertainment and is INSPIRED by greek mythology. So just go ahead, enjoy the animation and the beautiful color scheme, as well as the nicely chosen voice actors and. Quit. Bitchin. That's Heras job. Also, stop pressuring for more episodes. This stuff takes time and effort, so of course there's big gaps between the episodes and we can be glad that episode 2 came out as quickly as it did!

@@ananyam9950 Well the real tea here is, after Hera yeeted him off Olympus, he grew up and found out what she did to him, so he plotted and crafted the perfect revenge on her. It was so good she couldn't get out of it without help from Hephaestus, so Zeus bargained with him for Hera's freedom and the price was marriage to Aphrodite. I'd recommend going and finding out the whole myth, it's really one of the underrated ones in my opinion.

@@coacho1276 I mean usually when they do these types of tales for modern day or in their own interpretation they get rid of that part of the tale. The story in itself has tons of interpretations as well. I think the part about them being related is weird as hell but in this retelling I don't think they're related at all.

Okay , let's be real, the artist for this series was kind enough to give Minthe some screentime. Persephone's name literally translates to "Ooh,Imma kill everyone" Even in any versions of the actual myth,she was ruthless once she was a ruler, and one of her famous acts was turning Minthe into a plant...just cause she was annoyed

I can see that they’ve majorly improved since the first episode and have fixed some inconsistencies as well :) The entire team has done a fantastic job and I can’t wait for the next episode! EDIT: Thank you to everyone telling me that it's only one person behind the animation. I just started to watch this animation without prior knowledge behind the scenes. This just adds on to my appreciation and amazement with this work since this is all made from one person and I wish them the best of luck and hope they also take care of themselves while progressing with the story!

I seriously thought this was a Matel animation like Ever After High and I was like "omg a new doll line?!?!" Then I realized it was made a while ago lmfao. Dude, this is so freakin cool! All stories have that right to creative storytelling which means some things may not be 100% accurate! Just like LO and such too! Besides, if we're honest, sometimes even original Greek mythology took some creative leeway because a lot of it is debated or outdated or mistranslated so, changing it up a bit isn't a huge deal tbh! And if I'm being honest, idc! The characters are adorable! The voices are amazing! And the animation/coloring is honestly so incredible and astounding!
