As a 52 yr man who lost his dad at the age of four, growing up with a less than ideal step dad & a dysfunctional family structure & some abuse... Let me just say this, growing up as I did lead to drinking, some drugs, severe anger, all the wrong women blah blah blah... Stepping back & seriously looking at my life as my son was born I made him a promise. I told him... Son I promise to be the best dad I can be. I never broke that promise not once. The hardest part was thinking back to what I needed as a child at that age. I had to be mentally strong even tho I was not. Long story short is this... I've always longed & needed to hear the words from a male role model that I respected " you did good" " I am proud of you" " I love you son" I know I will never hear those words in my lifetime. But my son hears them every chance I get to tell him. He doesn't realize yet why I do it as often as I do. One day he will😎 Anyways, this song hits me hard..!!! Thank you Sully..!!!

This latest and final Godsmack album, while all the songs I've heard so far have been great, sound more like Sully's solo stuff rather than Godsmack songs to me. Still great, just not what I expected when they announced they were working on this project.
