I want to see Damian Lillard that’s my guy. I miss him in Portland. If he would have stayed, I think we would’ve gotten a good team together, but they didn’t want to trade scoot Henderson, and that didn’t work out so good with him. He ended up coming off the bench, I believe

this might be the last time the US can really show basketball dominance - their biggest stars are ageing quick (Lebron, curry, Durant)..the newer super stars in the NBA are not actually Americans - by 2028 this might actually not be such a surefire American trophy

I think the real question shouldn't be about whos on the USA team, it's about who's gonna be on the other teams. The teams that really are gonna have a chance to beat the USA team will be Australia, France, Serbia, and the team that I hope brings the guns out will be Canada. You gotta consider things which is MONEY!! These teams don't get paid in the Olympics. All the other sports the Gold medal is like winning the superbowl. Now as a USA player you got nothing really to gain by playing and winning because there's no money involved but more importantly the USA will be a huge favorite to win with this roster. At the end of the day winning a Gold medal as a USA men's or woman team isn't anywhere even remotely as important as it is to the other teams competing against them. Now I will say that if they loose a game or not win the Gold it's nowhere near as bad as the teams in the 90's if they lost because the international players are NBA stars now unlike the 90's. Back then it woulda been a much bigger upset. This USA team is stacked. They don't even need another player. No other country matches them on paper at all but those teams will be hungry to win Gold. I hope Kyrie plays for Australia after his snubb lol.
