That has to be one of the most powerful attacks Godzilla ever takes in this show. That energy ball destroyed the side of the cliff like nothing and he took it in the chest. If I remember correctly he saves the dam but retreats to the ocean clearly injured from the attack. Most of the enemies in the show have smaller blasts or use physical attacks but most didn't have the effect like the one left from the energy beast. Definitely a favorite episode of mine given what happens in their next encounter!

A really good episode imo

The energy beast may be shaped like a centipede, but its diet makes it an energy hog! That aside, this series brings back childhood memories.

Buckhannon WV has a memorial to Godzilla’s voice actor from this series, Ted Cassidy

That "snipping" that energy beast made has that "Flintstones" quality to it.

I think this is the first time I saw Godzilla delayed, not counting signal disruptions.
