No, he was calling to taunt Scar King - you can see how SK actually looks worried when he hears the sound, before he gets angry that Godzilla is back. Godzilla nods his at Kong seconds before Kong jumps on him, to let him know to do it.

And he fought and growed in hollow earth. This Kong isn´t the same as the one who he was in Hongkong he too get´s stronger and mor durable. I don´t think he is as durable as Godzilla but he would still be able to take a massiv beating befor going down.

Honestly I hope a future monster villain in The Monsterverse is a comedic sociopath equivalent to Dante in Fast 10, Big Jack Horner in Puss in Boots 2, Billy Zane's character in Demon Knight and/or judge Holden himself from Blood Meridian. Have them with very limited facial expressions or none at all better yet so that everything else about there being emphasizes this

This whole movie is so scary for scar king. First an ape shows up that is his size and can challenge him, Scar king is probably happy that he got the axe, Next thing is that godzilla shows up before he can leave hollow earth, Not only has an evolved godzilla shown up, he is with the same ape with gauntlet.
