And even though Toho has made multiple Godzilla movies where he is also like that or just straight up the hero. That means the last three Godzilla movies he hasn't been some action hero. He has been Godzilla, doing Godzilla things.

While I'm sure most of us here (probably nearly all of us) agree with you, I'm afraid it will never happen. The woke "hellywood" cult is still pissed off that Godzilla vs Kong out-grossed Nomadland (Hollywood's Best Picture choice of that year) by over 12 to 1. And while Godzilla Minus One is a much better movie than GvK, Hollywood will still pretend it doesn't exist. Btw, did you know that GMO only cost 15 million to make!? Even allowing for double that amount for marketing and distribution, this film has already soared into the profit zone. Take note Hollywood, we're giving our money to people who actually entertain us. Good luck in bankruptcy now that the free money has run out.

I actually think this is where Toho might've taken a 'few' cues from Gareth Edwards' work in the Monsterverse. Like look, not everybody has to love those for various reasons, but Gareth Edwards in the 2016 one displays a gift for cinematography, and making monsters 'feel' as big as they look, that few others come close to. And in this trailer I couldn't help picking out a whole lot of shots that really seemed to draw on his style of direction. But you know what, I'm fine with that because it looks incredible.

I think the most amazing aspect is that we see people's deaths. We don't watch Godzilla walk through city streets from an eagle-eye view, we're on the ground as Godzilla tears through buildings and people are flung into the air or crushed. The human suffering is always hidden away, which will make this movie truly horrifying and real.

The separate shots of people-monsters are too frequent, the script is a catastrophe and the interpretation too expressive of these Japanese men who look like some pampered little girls when it should have been a masculine attitude made me waste my time unnecessarily. how stupid can you be to appreciate such a film, I ask.

Brilliant film. Actually, an important film (more so than Oppenheimer). Very very smart, emotional, scary, and profound when taking its messages on war, the aftermath of war, and the power(lessness?) of regular citizens in the face of it all. Love the ode to the classic versions, but also to other films, like Jaws! And the sound, the chorus (of voices) toward the film's climax is haunting and divine, in the true sense of the word. Without a doubt it is award-worthy. Gotta see it again!

For Example, Jurrasic park Messed with the DNA to bring the Dinosaurs back, and now scientists are trying to bring dinosaurs back by gene engineering Anyway let's compare Godzilla and Leviathan. They can't die no matter what; they can light up the sea with the shining of their eyes/fins.. They both breathe fire... They both have scales; sharp teeth; ETC.. They both have similar titles.. Godzilla King of the monsters; and leviathan is called king of all beast in the bible.. in some translations he's king over the children of pride Even the director of Godzilla tweeted Leviathan verse toward godzilla.. Like I said the higher ups know Godzilla is the bibical Leviathan... This movie looks incredible. Godzilla is CGI but still looks real and horrifying. I like how the destruction is shown, from the perspective of humans, being crushed, falling off buildings and getting stepped on, and I’m excited to see how they’ll do the scenes with battleships! I’m unbelievably hyped for this film!

@BlackRainRising

I only want to touch up on this comment to say I think of Myth Busters when they did the bull in the china shop thing... a bull is actually very careful about walking around and not trying to smash into things if it can avoid it. Godzilla would be the same, if he's not angry/fighting of course and simply going from point A to point B he wouldn't be wreaking wanton destruction he'd be avoiding obstacles especially buildings since his sense of self preservation knows those could fall and hurt him (speaking from a standard animal point of view, we all know godzilla is a fucking tank, lol) I agree though, his footsteps, even if being careful not to hit things on the sides, would still be tearing up the ground and ripping things apart.

They’ve gone back to the origins too many times now. It is getting tired. That was never what made Godzilla as great as it was. What made it great were the playful monster battles. There’s a reason why King Kong Vs. Godzilla, to this day, is still the most successful Godzilla movie of all time.

Honestly you may hate me for this. But i prefer Godzilla being cheesy majority of the time. I like first one, and remake looks awesome. But i dont think making a tragic story of an ultimate weapon as sequels is that entertaining. I think its more fun when its just this big monster going all wraaaah on people is more fun just for simplicity. But i like the first movie for sure though. But i dont think it would make movies better if the sequels were overly serious

The united states military is using technology and manpower to protect deviant sadistic pedophiles that are misusing their access to advanced tools to spy on, harass, molest, and rape children.This sometimes follows them into adulthood. Children that are still too young to know that what they are seeing is not normal are being exposed to disgusting deviant content that is forcefully shown to them by hacking their devices. Many victims may not even know they have been targeted by this, because the majority of the actual sexual abuse happens when they are drugged or asleep, the only reason they might know is because the perpetrator may leave behind physical evidence, like bruises, scratches, or semen. If a victim discovers what has happened to them these worms will misuse equipment and manpower to stalk, shame, mock, and generally try to make the lives of the people affected by this as hellish as possible both offline and online. They follow victims in person and try to intimidate or harass them. They generally use different people who act as though they aren't affiliated with each other and don't do anything they can be arrested for at the time of the harassment. They think they can shame and mock their victims into silence because some of what happens is coerced. These are depraved cowards that gather in groups to harass solitary women and children just to protect sexual abusers and rapists.
