Godzilla: Save the Earth (ゴジラ怪獣大乱闘地球最終決戦 Gojira Kaijū Dairantō: Chikyū Saishū Kessen?, lit. Godzilla Monster Melee: Earth Final Battle) is a 2004 fighting game developed by Pipeworks and published by Atari, released for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. After failing to invade the Earth in 2002, the Vortaak return to Earth two years later with all of the monsters under their control, with their ultimate weapon, SpaceGodzilla. The player assumes the role of a monster who has broken free of the control, regardless of what monster is picked. If the player completes the game on hard mode with Godzilla 2000, a cutscene will be shown where Godzilla creates a black hole by blowing off SpaceGodzilla's shoulder crystals, which sucks him in, thus saving the world.

This game's being overhauled! Everything's getting retextured, and some other fresh stuff as well if anyone's interested. (Called Godzilla: Save the Earth Overhaul) This is personally my favorite game of all time, despite the obvious issues. Nice to see you all play it.

One of the fun things you can do in this game is toss the buildings. If you get really good, you can catch them too. My friends and I used to just get into multiplayer and toss apartment buildings back and forth.

Fun fact Re; "Spider-Man/Captain America? Godzilla"-Godzilla was a Marvel property for a while to the point SHIELD had a Godzilla task force. (which was retconned to dealing with Todd Zilla aka American Kaiju (disclaimer: NONE OF THIS IS MADE UP)

True that's why marvel made a new quote Godzilla toho is a lot more strict with Godzilla plus legendary Godzilla is a thing so the Godzilla rights are all over the place it doesn't help that idw and dark horse comics have exclusive rights to the Godzilla brand so even more screwy but they have not made Godzilla comic's in years

From what I understand the whole slow moving large thing is about perspective and parallax. Usually you are seeing it from a distance so it moves slower from your perspective but it still covers a large amount of space over a shorter amount of time. If you were closer you would see how far it moves and how fast it is compared to you.

Good luck to Alex with buying the Godzilla PS4 game. Because the digital game was taken off the PS Store and the low amount of physical copies printed, the game is now extremely expensive.

So, "Because Science" did an episode on why huge things look slow, but move crazy fast in referance to pacific rim, and they have done a couple based on large bugs and stuff, and how ultra large things cant exist due to the square cube law.

I’m not an expert, but I know enough to be annoyed when they say something wrong about the Godzilla series or characters. But I know most of the time it’s just because they aren’t as familiar with it as I am, which makes me wish I could explain things to them. This video was still entertaining though.

Someone probably already mentioned it (maybe not). Baragon was like in maybe 2 or 3 movies. The games that have him seem to take his GMK design (Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidora. A 2000-2001 movie reboot).

Have you guys tried war of the monsters? It was a lot of fun! If you ever play it though, never save over a run you did or you lose those points.. you have to have each new run on a file to save up points.. and you need them to unlock more monsters.

Jirard, you should try out the next game in the series on the Nintendo Wii, "Godzilla unleased." before anyone else replies to this, understand that you are the one at fault and not the motion control when it comes from this game. This is because at the very beginning of the motion it reads the direction the Wii remote is moving and decides to go off of that movement. anyone who had trouble with the game's motion controls will be solved by turning your wrist while moving your arm in said direction for any of the monsters attacks.

this is a popular idea but it is untrue, Godzilla 2000 movie is a reboot and shares no continuity with any film before or after (except the original 1954) and "godzilla vs destoyah" being the last film in the "heisei series"
