The prefect song of this show. Mysterious when it’s first introduced, haunting when it needs, dread inducing when you realize the end is near, but yet hopeful when standing against the end of the world.

I think a lot people misunderstood the purpose of this song. It doesn't attract monsters, rather it warns humanity of the approaching end. It's a prophecy. If it attracted monsters, it would have done so 60 year ahead of the timeline, when it first aired.

This song is in Sanskrit. It is saying that the danger is coming from Earth and sky(talking about rodants). The water is in flame raising the rays(Talking about red water). In second para it is saying the messenger of death will come(Godzilla) and will rule the world. In third para, it is saying your determination and planning is fate, start praying for god he will bring you the light and make your life easy. And last para is saying, Amrit(Water that brings immortality) will be of no use, knowledge will be your companion.

No kidding, this is one of the few animes that doesn't have dumb people, the muscular ones seem to have at least one graduation and even the secondary ppl (army and government officers) seem to quickly assimilate what is happening.

The first half of the series got me really confused, the second half was like...I got it, this is epic.

The fact that the name of this song "Alapu Upala" is palindromic like "Tenet" (reads the same backwords and forwards) is a nice touch leaning into the theme of this series.

SPOILERS AHEAD! So if I'm understanding things correctly this song is Pero 2 going back in time, solving the "Invincible Jet Jaguar" algorithm, and broadcasting that algorithm while also predicting the events that will transpire throughout the show in the hopes that Jet Jaguar will be able to download and analyze the algorithm, which then results in JJ becoming a walking singular point which we know warp spacetime and allows him to confront Godzilla. And because all Singular Points are connected the result of Godzilla defeating Jet Jaguar is akin to wishing for a genie to disappear, as one Singular Point destroying another will also destroy itself. This show is wild.

the music is both beautiful yet terrifying. whenever I listen to this again I mostly think about the scene where ultima was going to blast his atomic breath straight to Yun, as well as in the shots where we see it's destructive power in the city from shin or ultima

This majestic choir shows and gives you the idea of the terrifying nature of Godzilla, he is not the life-saving hero that you might know, this is the true atomic monster that is forced to walk the earth, consumed by it's own fate.

I didn’t realize at first that this was in the Godzilla universe, I thought it was the closest translation, I feel it changed my outlook on the show quite a bit. I never heard of rodan before either, it was really interesting since I was just being pulled along for the literal wildest ride of an anime.

This show on a whole different level! Gave me all kinds of emotions like fear, dread, sadness, hatred and almost felt like I wasn't human (which is weird to say, but that's what I felt watching it) this is the first Godzilla that made me feel all these at once.

I'd like to think that this is composed by Angels from a superior dimension, adoring Godzilla, a composition so powerful and divine that us, mediocre beings of lower dimensions, had the opportunity to listen to such a glorious composition.

The reiwa era really focuses on the sorta “the end is near…” type stuff, the music from the reiwa era focuses on the terror and dread a monster that is about to cause the end of the world brings… In shin godzilla, “persecution of the masses” talks about the prayers to god for mercy that the monster doesn’t kill everybody…. And in SP?-It talks about danger on all surfaces: air, water, and land, that the end of the world is near… and everybody must start praying for the lord’s mercy…

First thought of this show was that it wouldn’t be able to satisfy my needs but damn I was wrong. Anime was amazing and it gave me chills when I heard this song at night. Everyone was sleeping, all lights were off and this played. Honestly creeped me out when they entered that one abandoned mansion and this song starts playing. But I slowly begin to realize how beautiful it sound and was in awe in that one moths scene. This one of those 9/10 anime for me

This song shows how badly things could have gotten if godzilla wasn’t stopped by the Orthogonal Diagonalizer and Jet Jaguar in the song knowledge and preparation is your weapon. Mei and Yun knew that Godzilla and the other kaiju were coming, but no one did anything, the only reason casualties were low in the rodan flock incident was because of Otaki factory, the reason why Steven, Hilda and the Board dismissed Mei was because they wanted to synthesize the red dust and keep the secret buried. Not knowing the secret to stopping the catastrophe was the destruction of the Singular Point if it wasn’t for Mei sending Yun the Orthogonal diagonolizer that merged Jet Jaguars and Pelops II Data into one Godzilla would have destroyed the Universe

This whole show can be summarized as “let’s hypothetically on a theoretical stand point say..”

New favourite song. Gives chills/goosebumps when you hear it for the first time,but after hearing it for a while throughout the series,the song starts to sound calming. It gives a perfect "The end of the world."-type theme.Besides that,i kind of understand why the kaiju mostly get attracted to the song. The song itsself has some shocking lyrics that link to the series,and by that, the Rodan's and Gojira, Anguirus and the other Kaiju in the series hear the song as a call of their name.

Gsp is such a great series even though we didn’t get to see much of Godzilla himself they made it so mysterious and the theme adds extra mystery

I really love the approach of Godzilla being an Ancient Omnipotent Fish Yokai instead of the Mutated Dinosaur/Lizard thing. I know the mutation lore is a Message for atomic warfare and all that, but the Yokai origin is so Fitting for an anime i just think it is smart how they didn't tell the same origins over and over again to the point people would know what's going to happen next and stuff.

Singular point really brings the scientific and mythical aspects together. It's hard science fiction mixed with dumb kaiju fun. While it's incomprehensible on a first watch through its actually pretty smart having seen it a second time and better understanding what they're trying to day about quantum physics.
