I hate it when people cheer or anything like that in a cinema, it’s so obnoxious for people trying to watch the movie, I wanna watch and be immersed in a film not hear other people and not the film

For me(Saw it the 2nd day after it's release), people clapped when: Title Card shown up, Godzilla attacks, Kong punching Godzilla, MechaGodzilla reveal, Kong getting his axe, Godzilla nearly killing Kong, Kong using his axe to block Godzilla's atomic breath(Reference to the 1960s movie), MechaGodzilla breaking out, Godzilla & Kong teaming up, and Kong tearing MechaGodzilla's head off.

In monsterverse before GvK, Kong had only beat 3 Kaiju. Ramarak Skullcrawler, Giant-squid, and Camazotz.

No, he has been dormant in Fiji since KOTM. They show up as defeated because they bowed to Godzilla, except for the MUTO and Ghidorah which were killed.
