It blows my mind as a fan of BVS and Godzilla films. They are more similar than you think, because: Superman can absorb solar energy and heal from it. Can regenerate (At least in comics.) Plus he can live forever, if there is Sun. (Including movies.) Has heat vision, frost breath, flight, speed, super hearing, super and X-ray vision, super strength and invulnerability. In recent movies, was hated by some people. (In BVS) Vulnerable to kryptonite and Red Sun radiation. (Magic is debatable.) Monsterverse Godzilla can absorb radiation and heal from it. Is capable of regenerating and immortal. (Millions of years old.) Has atomic breath, can release nuclear pulses at his strongest, has an aquatic factor (versus Supes' flight), can sense other monsters/titans from everywhere, physically very strong, and has thick and indestructible skin. Was hated by some people in KOM 2019 film. Has both his gills and the oxygen destroyer as his weaknesses. Supes was hit by a nuke, and was temporary down. Whereas Doomsday was fine. Godzilla was hit by the oxygen destroyer, and was nearly dead. Whereas Ghidorah was fine.
