I’m glad 3C films knows what kind of movie this is because it does annoy me seeing some reviewers who aren’t that well versed into Godzilla or Kaiju films having to only compare it to Minus One thinking that every Godzilla movie needs to be taken seriously/Oscars worthy when really it’s great to have a balanced of both worlds, can’t wait to check it out tomorrow!

I'm a Casual G Fan, I haven't even seen Minus One And even I know enough of the franchise that Godzilla can be both serious (like the Original 1954 film, or Shin Godzilla) or stupid as hell (Godzilla vs. The Smog Monster, or Godzilla vs. Megalon) Hell, sometimes the dude can be educational as hell with stuff like ChibiGodzilla, and Godzilland/GojiRando

I actually enjoyed the human element this time. And trapper suprised me. Not only did he buck his name which makes you think about hunting. But he stood for his morals so much he didn't even kill that mosquito. And him getting Mr. Blogpost to not upload stuff about the tribe was a nice touch because it's true.

Been a Godzilla fan since I was a four year old in '94. Big 3C fan too. Always love when the two cross paths, and I'm even a bigger Kong fan now! I feel the same way. Us kaiju fans are eating good this year! An Oscar winner, and a summer blockbuster in a years time. So cool! Love from Ft Worth!

I’m happy this movie and GvK puts most the attention on Kong. He’s the titan with the most character development and has more going on in his life. Between exploring the Hollow Earth to discovering more of his kind, I really don’t understand why people feel there should be an even split between him and Godzilla. Especially when all Godzilla does is patrol the surface world and make sure other titans don’t get out of line. But I am stoked to see Godzilla and Kong’s relationship grow further from frenemies to comrades.

@@whoanelly2605 I agree, no one should miss that and it’s going to be in the film. We’ve seen hints in the trailers. You’re basically saying you want to see stuff that’s already going to be in the film…so those aspects are already covered. The rest of the time that’s focused on Kong, we don’t need to see half of that time given to Godzilla while he goes about doing nothing like swimming, sleeping, and consuming radiation. Not when Kong has way more happening in his story especially when it comes to exploring the Hollow Earth.

I’m a casual Godzilla fan, and I enjoy both the serious version and the silly version. The franchise is versatile and I like they try different ideas and tones while keeping the spirit of Godzilla there. I’ll have to see this one next week!

I liked and hated Skar King I like Skar King as a villain because he is not the biggest or most powerful titan, instead he uses cunning, fear, intimidation, cruelty and slavery. Plus despite his lanky appearance Skar was much more agile than Kong. I hated Skar King because of the things he was doing. He was a Tyrant and sadistic especially to Shimo. I'm glad he went out in a very brutal way. Because villains are supposed to make you hate thier guts.

Back when he was first shown off I didn't have any doubt in his ability to be a great villain that should be taken seriously. Cause kongs are the closest thing to a human kaiju and human can be monsters in their own ways and scar king showed that.

I watched GvK when it came out in 2021 at home. I just bought the DVD last week and going to watch it tonight to not only refresh my memory but also to hype me up for GXK because Im seeing it tomorrow night with my dad who is a fan of both Godzilla & Kong. Tbh, we forget that earlier in the Monsterverse we complained about not having enough monster fights, then we complained about cutaways from the fights, now we have it so I hope people don’t complain about the humans. This was a epic teamup movie in the history of the franchise having Godzilla and Kong teamup was beautifully epic and the return of a certain Toho monster was great too teaming up against Skar King and Shimo beautiful and fun! A sasquatch with Stormbreaker and the Infinity Gauntlet. A crocodile with Super Saiyan Rose. King Louie. Curious George. And a Frost Giant. This movie has everything in it and I loved it.

I loved it. it was fun and a good escape and definitely one of the best in the francize outside of the first. In the American versions which have always been kind lacking. Hope they make one more. Subbed. Enjoy your other reviews as well.

I just wish we had more of the tone of something like monarch or kotm, with the action of gvk specifically, feels like itd be the perfect mesh, because it almost feels like we went from pacific rim to pacific rim 2, it can be as goofy as a callback to the show era as it wants, but this isnt how the universe started yk, i wish they keep some of their roots alive, i want them to find a perfect balance, but long live the king
