I'm speculating that Godzilla has been raiding nuclear power plants for radiation after sensing Shimo and Skar stirring up trouble down in the Hollow Earth, causing him to become overloaded in his paranoid preparation. In additon, I think this forces him to seek out that frozen retreat to allow himself to evolve into a form that can channel that massive influx of excess radiation in the absence of Mothra to gift him his Burning Mode.

One thing I think would be interesting is that depite it's size Shimo is only in it's adolescent phase with the bone cage it comes with in the toy sets being from the remains of an adult member of it's species and the reason it obeys Scar King is because he 'raised' it after either somehow eliminating the adults or finding Shimo after the adults had died off due to other causes. Another interesting thing would be that when a member of Shimo's species dies, as it decomposes it saturates the surrounding environment with energy attracting other titans and titan-like species turning the area into a titan hotspot of sorts which could explain the giant ribcage seen in the Skull Island animated series and why Skull Island was home to so many species. Something I wanna know is if Kong knows about shimo because his reaction is pure fear and I’m pretty sure he should not react like that to another titan. Godzilla scared? Doubt it. Trailer dialogues can be mixed of different scene sequences. How will Godzilla and Kong will end up teaming up? Why type of communication they will use? Will we see shimo standing up on both of his feet and test strength with Godzilla?

Shimo slams Godzilla in physical strenght. He is also much bigger. Kong was raging, that's not fear. They end up fighting, but kong wins (because of leaked plot of the fight) and Mothra separates them. They do not need to communicate to work together.

Okay, for those who are kinda hung up on the old Godzilla and Kong rivalry, I think it's assumed that what made Godzilla attack Kong in the 2nd trailer for this film is because of one thing that Kong has which Godzilla envies the former over. The B.E.A.S.T. Glove. Somehow, Godzilla figured the purpose that weapon is meant to serve, and just has the gut feeling that it could be used against him--especially as he had just finished self-evolving to his new and more powerful form. And merchandise material from the film claim that the B.E.A.S.T. Glove is able to deliver impacts relative to the magnitude caused by meteors, and Godzilla would not be happy that it's a power made just for Kong by humans, and recently Godzilla is still hung up on humanity's audacity to play God since GvK. Kong would somewhat feel the same way with Godzilla's new form, as it is something that Godzilla can achieve and he couldn't. To add more insult, Godzilla's new atomic breath now has more power that helps it cut through even one of the Pyramids of Giza. If it were true, we are looking at an initial rivalry between the two kaiju caused by hasty assumptions of power-tripping sought by either side....

@@theviper542 Digging through the Earth with his heat ray took way longer than one swing against a highly dense 120m tall, 120m wide monument made of solid stone, each block being as tall as a grown man and as heavy as an elephant. Though his old heat ray can melt glass and steel in buildings, the mass of that pyramind warrants greater energy and momentum to actually cut it like butter. The Earth may have some soft spots, but was still way too thick to cut to reach the Hollow Earth.

Mothra grows in strength and challenges Scar King. Skar is killed by Mothra and Kong before he almost kills kong. Mothra is mortally injured. Kong is unconscious. Godzilla is getting his ass kicked by Shimo but Mothra comes to his aide but Shimo ends Mothra before she can amp Goji. Godzilla and Kong team up and send Shimo into a deep dark abyss and seal it off with the essence 0f Mothra/Earth. The End.

I'm guessing that Godzilla fights Shimo on his own early on in the film and is encased in ice during the fight. Godzilla evolves while in the ice, and as a result is able to free himself and eventually defeat Shamu. It seems like the best way to set up their showdown. Godzilla usually struggles early on and then returns with a new form that allows him to defeat the enemy.... or maybe that's Goku. Whatever, close enough. I look forward to seeing Super Kaiju Rose in action.

I think the order of the trailer goes like this: When Kong looks behind him he sees Skar king walking out and then he jumps down, something happens in between and they fight, when Skar best Kong, he climbs back up to his throne, everyone leaves the pit except Kong, Kong is looking around confused, Skar is gonna give some kind of signal and all the apes start beating the ground as seen in the trailer, the lava gates are brought down, Kong turns around and comes face to face with Shimo as she walks out, odviously is much larger than Kong and even Godzilla and that’s when Shimo is probably gonna blast Kong, he’s gonna dodge it because he’s used to beams at this point, and then he counters the next one with his axe, freezing his right arm and breaking his axe

Great breakdown. A lot was revealed but still we have at least 3 major misteries: - How Kong and Gman make truce?, but this might be under Mothra influence; - Why other kongs that are loyal to Scar are not in Rio? Maybe as like Suko they will rebel later ? - What we gonna see in prolog showing ancient rivary? Maybe macasre of Godzilla's king made by Shimu ?

This trailer did 6 things which made me really happy 1. We finally got to see Shimo ❄️ (although you have to like zoom in and watch at .25x speed) and it’s abilities 2. We got to see so many epic action scenes in so many places like the pyramids, skar king’s lair, hollow earth at zero gravity, and in Brazil. 3. We got hints of Mothra 🦋 returning!! 4. We saw skar king’s weapon in action 5. We finally got to see Godzilla use his atomic pulse in live action!! 6. The CGI is significantly better which means in the final movie it’s gonna look even better! Not to mention we are also gonna see Scylla or some spider titan fight Godzilla and there are rumors of Tiamat appearing! This movie is gonna be action packed!
