Gog & Magog - 20:14 - 24:24 "Gog and Magog are located "within" modern western civilization."

*Best research about Dhul Qarnayn was done by Abu Alkalam Azad* He said Dhul Qarnayn is Cyrus the great, who most likely lived during the life of Zoroaster, founder of the Zoroastrian faith, which was strictly monthiest faith. Murkey water was according to his study , Izmir in Turkey, cause there were some small rivers of mud pouring into the sea making it muddy ( which is the right definition of Hamiaa) . The journey to the east was to India , by the Indus river. Third journey to the north , to Darial Gorge where he melt iron and copper to block that pass by a huge dam (more accurate it's name is radam but I don't know it's equivalent in English) , according to his study some old Arminian texts refered to it as ( Kuban Gorai) which means Dam of Goroch (Koroch = Cyrus) . And Allah knows best of course. So Gog and Magog are more likely all Turkic tribes above Caucasus mountain, the Iron dam came down during umayad time . If I remember there was a Abbasid king had a dream about it. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as well had a dream about that dam penetrated during his time as it is referred to in Sahih Bukhari . The languages in Caucauses are very different from place to place from tribe to tribe .. you can check that . you can also check with the map of The Achaemenid Empire during Cyrus the great time. So ,Gog and Magog are more likely the two tribes from where all Turkic tribes came from, from Mongolia to Ukraine .. ... Of course many of them joined Islam and become Muslims and we have no problem with them ... but what are the signs of Gog of Magog today , the first one is arrogance, the second is nationalism or tribalism . What place did sheikh Imran mentioned for the dam for gog and Magog?

i have listened to many of sheikh talks and lectures he sounds like a father figure and his talks are so interesting.... i think i will stick to the opinion of the vast majority of ulama which is that yajuj wa majuj will appear during the lifetime of sayyidina Isa alayhi salaam and they (yajuj wa majuj) will be removed by allah ta'ala upon the dua of Isa alayhi salaam and of the muslims with him at that time. i cant blindly follow a lone person on this point.

Hahah, Sheikh Imran may Allah Almighty save him is looking for others than him who believe the same like him and he doesn't know that there are people, here in Damascus who have the same information like his, and much more. They've been waiting for the coming of the great prophet Jesus peace and blessings be upon him, for ages.

I have two questions for my understanding . 1. where does Quran tells about the existing of a water body in the second expedition of Dhal Qarnain i.e journey towards East? 2. How a traveler between Caspian Sea and Black sea can be entitled as the Great Traveler while the distance between the two seas is less than 1000 km?

_Ya'juj and Ma'juj are among the progeny of Adam, peace be upon him, as was recorded in the Two Sahihs,_ 'Allah said: ''O Adam.'' Adam said, ''Here I am at Your service.'' Allah said, ''Send forth the group of Hellfire.'' Adam said, ''What is the group of Hellfire'' Allah said: ''Out of every thousand, nine hundred and ninety-nine will go to Hell and one will go to Paradise.'' At that time young men will turn grey and every pregnant female will drop her load. Among you are two nations who never come to anything but they overwhelm it with their huge numbers. (They are) Ya'juj and Ma'juj.'' In Quran, Allah says, حَتَّىٰ إِذَا بَلَغَ بَيْنَ السَّدَّيْنِ وَجَدَ مِنْ دُونِهِمَا قَوْمًا لَا يَكَادُونَ يَفْقَهُونَ قَوْلًا Until, when he reached between two mountains, he found, before (near) them (those two mountains), a people who scarcely understood a word. قَالُوا يَا ذَا الْقَرْنَيْنِ إِنَّ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ مُفْسِدُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَهَلْ نَجْعَلُ لَكَ خَرْجًا عَلَىٰ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَهُمْ سَدًّا They said: \O Dhul-Qarnain! Verily! Ya'juj and Ma'juj (Gog and Magog) are doing great mischief in the land. Shall we then pay you a tribute in order that you might erect a barrier between us and them?\" قَالَ مَا مَكَّنِّي فِيهِ رَبِّي خَيْرٌ فَأَعِينُونِي بِقُوَّةٍ أَجْعَلْ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ رَدْمًا He said: \That (wealth, authority and power) in which my Lord had established me is better (than your tribute). So help me with strength (of men), I will erect between you and them a barrier." آتُونِي زُبَرَ الْحَدِيدِ ۖ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا سَاوَىٰ بَيْنَ الصَّدَفَيْنِ قَالَ انْفُخُوا ۖ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا جَعَلَهُ نَارًا قَالَ آتُونِي أُفْرِغْ عَلَيْهِ قِطْرًا \Give me pieces (blocks) of iron,\" then, when he had filled up the gap between the two mountain-cliffs, he said: \"Blow,\" till when he had made it (red as) fire, he said: \"Bring me molten copper to pour over it." فَمَا اسْطَاعُوا أَنْ يَظْهَرُوهُ وَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوا لَهُ نَقْبًا So they [Ya'juj and Ma'juj (Gog and Magog)] were made powerless to scale it or dig through it. قَالَ هَٰذَا رَحْمَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّي ۖ فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ رَبِّي جَعَلَهُ دَكَّاءَ ۖ وَكَانَ وَعْدُ رَبِّي حَقًّا Dhul-Qarnain) said: \This is a mercy from my Lord, but when the Promise of my Lord comes, He shall level it down to the ground. And the Promise of my Lord is ever true.\" وَتَرَكْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَمُوجُ فِي بَعْضٍ ۖ وَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ فَجَمَعْنَاهُمْ جَمْعًا And on that Day [i.e. the Day Ya'juj and Ma'juj (Gog and Magog) will come out], We shall leave them to surge like waves on one another, and the Trumpet will be blown, and We shall collect them all together. (Al-Kahf 18: 93-99) The Barrier restrains Them, but It will be breached when the Hour draws near. Allah tells us that Ya'juj and Ma'juj could not climb over the barrier or penetrate its lower portion. Varying forms of the verb are used here in the Arabic text to reflect the difficulty of the action referred to. ﴿فَمَا اسْطَـعُواْ أَن يَظْهَرُوهُ وَمَا اسْتَطَـعُواْ لَهُ نَقْبًا ﴾ (So they (Ya'juj and Ma'juj) could not scale it or dig through it.) This indicates that they could not penetrate it or dig through it. Imam Ahmad recorded that Zaynab bint Jahsh, the wife of the Prophet said, ''The Prophet woke from sleep, and he was red in the face. He said, «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَيْلٌ لِلْعَرَبِ مِنْ شَرَ قَدِ اقْتَرَبَ فُتِحَ الْيَوْمَ مِنْ رَدْمِ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ مِثْلُ هَذَا» (La ilaha illallah! Woe to the Arabs from the evil that has approached (them). Today a hole has been opened in the barrier of Ya'juj and Ma'juj like this.) and he made a circle with his index finger and thumb. I ﴿Zaynab﴾ said, `O Messenger of Allah, will we be destroyed even though there will be righteous people among us' He said: «نَعَمْ إِذَا كَثُرَ الْخَبَث» (Yes, if evil increases.)'' This is a Sahih Hadith, both Al-Bukhari and Muslim recorded it. In Quran chapter 18, Ayah: 98-99 ﴿هَـذَا رَحْمَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّى فَإِذَا جَآءَ وَعْدُ رَبِّى جَعَلَهُ دَكَّآءَ وَكَانَ وَعْدُ رَبِّى حَقّاًوَتَرَكْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَمُوجُ فِى بَعْضٍ﴾ (This is a mercy from my Lord, but when the promise of my Lord comes, He shall level it down to the ground. And the promise of my Lord is ever true.) And on that Day, We shall leave them to surge like waves on one another...)﴿ Al-Kahf 18: 98-99﴾. And in this Ayah, Allah says, حَتَّىٰ إِذَا فُتِحَتْ يَأْجُوجُ وَمَأْجُوجُ وَهُمْ مِنْ كُلِّ حَدَبٍ يَنْسِلُونَ Until, when Ya'juj and Ma'juj (Gog and Magog) are let loose (from their barrier), and they swiftly swarm from every mound (Hadab). (Al-Anbiya 21:96) _Until, when Ya`juj and Ma`juj are let loose, and they swoop down from every Hadab, meaning, they will come forth quickly to spread corruption. (A Hadab is a raised portion of land.) This was the view of Ibn `Abbas, `Ikrimah, Abu Salih, Ath-Thawri and others._ _This is how their emergence is described, as if the listener can see it._ *_Ibn Jarir narrated that `Ubaydullah bin Abi Yazid said, ''Ibn `Abbas saw some young boys playing and pouncing on one another, and said, this is how Ya'juj and Ma'juj will emerge.'' Their emergence has been described in numerous Hadiths of the Prophet ._* Imam Ahmad recorded from An-Nawwas bin Sam`an Al-Kilabi that the Messenger of Allah mentioned the Dajjal one morning. ''Sometimes he described him as insignificant and sometimes he described him as so significant that we felt as if he were in the cluster of palm trees. He said: (There are other things that I fear for you more than the Dajjal. If he emerges while I am among you, I will deal with him for you. If he emerges when I am not among you, then each man will have to deal with him for himself, and Allah will take care of each Muslim on my behalf. He (the Dajjal) will be a young man with short, curly hair and a floating eye. He will emerge in a place between Syria and Iraq and will spread mischief right and left. O servants of Allah, be steadfast!) We said, `O Messenger of Allah, how long will he remain on earth' He said, (Forty days: one day like a year, one day like a month, one day like a week, and the rest of the days like your days.) We said, `O Messenger of Allah, on that day which will be like a year, will the prayers of one day and one night be sufficient' He said, (No, but you will have to compute it according to its due proportion (and pray accordingly).) We said, `O Messenger of Allah, how fast will he move across the land' He said, (Like a cloud driven by the wind.) He said, (He will come to a people and call them ﴿to his way﴾ and they will respond to him. He will issue a command to the sky and it will rain, and to the earth and it will bring forth vegetation, then their livestock will come to them in the evening with their humps very high and their udders full of milk and their flanks wide and fat. Then he will come to another people and call them ﴿to his way﴾ and they will refuse, and their wealth will leave with him, and they will be faced with drought, with none of their wealth left. Then he will walk through the wasteland and will say to it, ''Bring forth your treasure,'' and its treasure will come forth like a swarm of bees. Then he will issue commands that a man be killed, and he will strike him with a sword and cut him into two pieces, and (put these pieces as far apart) as the distance between an archer and his target. Then he will call him, and the man will come to him with his face shining. **At that point Allah will send the Messiah `Isa bin Maryam, who will come down to the white minaret in the eastern side of Damascus, wearing two garments lightly dyed with saffron and with his hands resting on the wings of two angels. He will search for him (the Dajjal) until he catches up with him at the eastern gate of Ludd, where he will kill him. **Then Allah will reveal to `Isa ibn Maryam the words: ''I have brought forth from amongst My creatures people against whom none will be able to fight. Take My servants safely to the Mount (Tur).'' Then Allah will send Ya'juj and Ma'juj, as Allah says: (and they swoop down from every Hadab.) ALLAH knows best
