ok, got it. HOW TO COUNTER GOGETA: NEVER CROUCH GUARD

Small note: You can land his stardust fall after an aerial combo ending in soul-strike while mid screen. Not much damage and pressure, but of course like you said it brings them down to ground for a follow up super easily.

Soul strike have another difference between the light and medium version : the medium version can combo into a assist while the light version can't (airborne)

They did a good job with Gogeta. You can immediately tell where all of his moves came from. It kinda sucks tho that he doesn’t have the one huge flip kick he used on Janemba. But we Gucci.. this man has 6 supers and beams for Ki blasts.

If your gonna use the recka kicks midscreen for a knockdown, end it with the medium kick, it causes the oppenent to bounce and allows you to land all his supers easily

After Soul Strike, you can easily use Stardust Fall in mid-screen combos. It's much more difficult to hit it in the corner, though, but Soul Strike's medium is a lot easier to follow up with a super, so you can just use God Punisher or even a level 3.

I can’t juggle people in the air with gogeta unless I vanish since his down heavy gives me the overhead strike thing, unlike other characters where they kind of kick you in the air where you could keep the combo going but other than that Gogeta is siiiiiiiiick 🔥🔥

I’ve got a combo for Gogeta: auto combo, vanish, wait for wall bounce, dragon rush, land, LvL 5/Ultimate Kamehameha or ◾️◾️◾️◾️◾️◾️◾️ vanish, wait for wall bounce, R1, land,⬇️⬅️R2, hold R2. I know it’s basic but it does a lot of damage

I actually found a combo route that starts midscreen that carries to corner

You can do 2 Galick guns and kamehamehas in a corner combo.

Just a tip. if you already used your super dash , but you haven't used your smash, JH combos into the afterimage kamehameha which will give you a sliding knockdown. idunno why nobody does this lol

The big bang kamehameha (2354 dmg) actually deals more than the barrage (2018 dmg), so it's the best ground option if you only want to spend 1 bar.

Anyone else think he fits best as an anchor? I feel like they intentionally designed him to work best alone, true to character. He doesn't seem to need assists to do huge damage, has a ton of solo TODs and pretty decent mix-up, however you could probably just block him standing all day long without side-switching mix-ups.
