Mahal ang entry level plus ung subscription is a deal breaker. Siguro sa ngayon upper middle class ang target market nila pero good luck if mag scale up sila sa ganyan. I guess dapat na rin nila simulan magcompete sa entry level market.

Deal-breaker yung: 1. "combi-braking" 2. kakaunti pa ang battery exchange stations 3. battery subscription, sana libre na or sana lower price 4. some of the tech sa bike is annoying, FOR ME, nakita ko na in person yan 5. hindi mo maeenjoy sa long rides unless merong battery exchange stations outside Metro Manila 6. NapakaMAHAL para pasukin ang entry-level market, so pang-mayaman lang 'to na gustong gumala in style A standard Honda Beat (without combi-brake, without start-stop) is more practical than this, in the short and long run.

It's an EV by all means. You would have to understand its limitations. This is intended for at least 90% city riding. Kakaunti palang battery exchange stations kasi gano palang sila katagal dito? I think 2 years tops palang Di ko gets anong deal breaker sa Combi-brake. I have a Honda beat with Combi brake and ok naman siya. I agree with you na sana lower yung cost ng battery subscription, pero hindi pwedeng libre yan. lol. Gumagastos din sila ng resources for the battery stations, and they pay electric bills to charge the battery modules.

@@shinababes Just one thing, yung sa combi brakes, I hope I can disable that kasi sanay ako using the brakes independently kasi merong kanya-kanyang role ang front and rear brakes. If I want to use them both then I will just "use" them both with inputs from both my hands. All the other points you mentioned, I agree din naman. Just sharing my take on the subject of EV and I guess my insights are really just for me, for my preferences, because I cannot speak for anyone else.

@@ManCannotRide true..napaka mahal ng maintenance ng ebike.atsaka ang batt katagalan pahina ng pahina yan na parang cellphone lang sa umoisa lang matagal malobat. But in the long run bibigay at hihina rin at madali na malobat.napaka mahal ng batt ng ebike.for rich people lang yan na Wala ng mapaglagyan ng pera or dun sa mga taong umaasa lang sa pera ng magulang pero walang silbi sa buhay.

Middle Class here. Kung meron nito sa Mindanao, bibili talaga ako. I travel around 60kms per day if I'm going to my farm and back. thats 1800 kilometers per month. Kung Gasolina nasa around 60Php gastos ko per day since 1L/Day gastos ko. That means I will save at least 650Php per month. Gas lang yan ah. Wala pa yung mga consumables such as Oil, Oil FIlter, Battery, etc. If you do the math, which you did not, I'd save a minimum of 39K per year. Hindi pa kasama yung ibang gastusin.

​​​@@user-bm5ht8ze2t You also did not include yung subscription cost ng gogoro. Paano naging 39k yung 650 mo per month na savings? Ano yun 39 months ang isang taon? FYI naglalaro lang sa 80k ang noal branded motorcycle na mas malaki pa dyan sa gogoro na limited lang yung range.

Yung pricepoint and subscription, pwedeng ilevel mo sa 150cc Vespa Primavera. Tapos iadd mo na dyan yung limit ng distance na pupuntahan mo, convenience of getting it fueled up with fresh batteries or gas. Gas based parin ako. Pero kung hardcore ebike user ang peg mo, you can level this spec with NWow TK10. 35k lang yun, mas maporma, ipasetup mo para medyo gumanda ng konti. Pasok pa sa memo ng LTO as L2B category ebike, meaning no registration needed, proper helmet at dapat hindi kamote si rider.

11:47 that's not how regenerative breaking works. lol, the motor of the vehicle when you are not hitting the gas acts as a generator then charges the battery. anung heat from the breaks... bagong tech ba yan?

I would wait until e-vehicle prices levels with ICE ones. Right now, that 200k price tag plus a subscription is more if not same in terms of running cost compared to an ICE scooter with fuel and maintenance for 3 years.

problem is dealers are making it difficult to match prices. zero import tax lahat EVs dapat sa PH until 2028 via EO pero BYD Seagull for example na starting $10k USD (roughly almost P600k) pero pagdating dito PH 1.2m na. another example is Jetour Ice Cream dapat between 400-500k even considering shipping from China pero sa PH 750k starting

Lugi sa subscription service lalu kung hindi maxado ginagamit. Para kang nag babayad ng gas na hindi mo ginamit. Sulit lang subscription service if whole day ka nag bbyahe like grab deliveries, parang 1k lang gas mo for the whole month.

@@skyMcWeeds basically di kana makaka kuha ng battery once ma meet mo yun max allowable charge nila. Yung 700kms estimated lang nila yun, dipende padin sa piga mo, so pwedeng mas mababa pa sa 700kms range per month.

Good day! Wag na po kayo mag wonder Sir kasi naisip na ng taiwan yan bago ipasok sa Pilipinas hehehe😅 Nahuli kana ng Pulis because of world class anti theft security ng Go Station and battery. Nakalocked yung batteries sa Go Station and you have to insert battery first from the recognized Gogoro Scooter bago mag Pop out yung new battery.

the subscription is fine if you compute the same in this video vs gas consumption along with other regular expenses like maintaining filters, changing oil, etc., considering this is also how it works in Taiwan, and the subscription makes up the cost of operating the swap ecosystem, guaranteeing you get a fresh, if not always new battery every time. at best, the only thing to maintain are tires, brakes, suspension and cleanliness of the bike. the only two cons I see in the subscription model are 1.) that there is no carryover, meaning if you didn't use up your 420 or 700 km, you can't add it for your next month's consumption and 2.) you are beholden to the subscription service to use the bike, essentially making the bike essentially useless if you don't pay. also, the price of the unit itself is too much though considering the power it handles (comparable to 125cc). this is considering the need of the subscription and that there should be zero import tax on any EVs in the PH until 2028 and iirc, it is below P100k converted lang sa Taiwan mismo, granted the prices in Taiwan are heavily subsidized by the government there. the only way for EVs to succeed in this country is to also do what Taiwan and China is doing, make it cheaper for people to swap to EVs. the swap ecosystem should also be expanded first before launching to this market hard. there are too few stations which kind of disincentivizes people to go to around stations everytime especially if its out of their way to go home. unlike when I visited Taiwan, swapping stations were practically everywhere. as of Dec 2023, there are only 5 stations between Taguig (1), Makati (2), Pasig (1) and Parañaque (1).

No entirely, I think it would also be perfect here in Mindanao. CDO to Davao is around 290 Kilometers and CDO to GenSan is around 350 Kilometers. Bale kung may battery station lang sa Bukidnon ng at least 2. Many riders can accomodate a long ride if the infrastructure was established.

Sa computation, sinagad mo yung battery, which runs out of battery di mo sinama yung konsumo ng pag takbo mo sa battery using your pick-up. So technically di kaparin naka save ng 200 PHP hehe

Bumili ako ng escooter worth 60k para magamit sa business ko pang deliver at pang pick up sa supplier. Malaking tulong kasi mas malaki ang kinikita ko dahil mas mura ang kuryente kumpara sa gas kaya yung motor ko halos hindi ko na ginagamit

sana mas mag mura yung price ng unit.. additional lang rin na kung dadami yung mga charging station parang mas maganda kung may bubong para madaling makita at mas hindi tirik sa araw yung charging station. grabe magiging game changer talaga to sa motorcycle industry sa pinas. lalo na sa mahal ng gasulina. If computing fuel alone, yes mas tipid. Pero kung iisipin, sa gogoro P255k na 125cc electric, pag bumili ako ng yamaha fazzio 125 na 100k, may sukli pa akong P155k pang gas ko. Kung sabihin nating gagastos ako ng gas na P500/day. 155,000 divided by 500, may 310 days worth ako ng gas, pero siyempre depende sa gamit mo, may mga araw na hindi ka babyahe at meron naman na puro biyahe at gaano kahaba yung milage. Hindi pa tapos doon, kung bibili ka ng gogoro, siyempre naka subscription ka. If kukunin mo yung 999, gaano katagal bago mapapantayan yung nagastos ng gogoro sa fazzio? Huwag din natin kalimutan yung maintenance. Ang battery more or less 3 years, so constantly ka bibili ng battery. Pero magkano ang battery ng gogoro kaysa sa fazzio? Yes may oil and parts maintenance pa, sa panahon ngayon magkano ang parts and services ng gas vehicle against sa electric vehicle? PS: HIndi ako against sa electric vehicle. Just being practical and gusto ko lang masulit yung worth. Hindi kasi ako mayaman hehehe

di tatagal yan sa pilipinas presyong bigbike pero power pang underbone yung gastos sa battery halos pareho lang ng gastos sa gasolina ng mga 125cc hindi pwede sa long distance. sino kaya target market nyan masyadong mahal para sa common na filipino kung mayaman ka naman bakit ka bibili ng overpriced na ebike kung makakabili kanaman ng bigbike/kotse? hindi rin namn ganun kalaki matitipid mo dyan.

Its sounds like a Radar.. all in all maganda sya kaso un price lng tlga di pang masa.. piling tao lng pede gumamit neto di sya pede sa mga simpleng tao na nagttratrabaho lng sa minimal wage or else may sideline ka para mabili ito kaso walang kakain ng masarap hehe alam nyu naman na un wag na tayo mag payabangan na may pambili or ganito nlng bilin kesa dito. Gets naman na natin kung para saan ito..

Hindi ako na buy-in. Mas okay pa din ang disaksak na ebike. Hindi aabutin ng 700 a month ang cost nun sa electric bill. Plus point pa e di hamak na mas mura. Another plus point may long range din naman. 255k for e-scoot hindi pang masamang pinoy.

This is a great electric scooter kaya lang there’s not much battery stations around in Manila, A must monthly swapping fee subscription. The worst is you can’t charge the scooter/battery at home! There’s no plug! It’s a bum!

E bike pero need mo gumamit paren ng kotse para puntahan malalayong charging station. plus subscription based pa. hassle na defeat pa ung logic ng pagiging environment friendly. hnd tlaga ako bilib sa mga e bikes. may pambile ako pero hnd ako papasok sa ganyang system.

the swap machines will guarantee almost fresh to a very good battery health threshold. that's where the subscription is going to, making sure you never get a dead battery. the problem is the ecosystem is too limited at the moment, its just to 5 locations lang sa ngayon.

mahal, no strong infrastructure in place, maaring walang consumables ie: oils, filters, but maintenance is exclusive and might it cost you $$$, gagastos din pala sa batt subs...duh, ill stay put with conventional gas engine
