Its even more brutal in the manga. When the Cell Jrs are torn apart, you can see their intestines, brain matter, and even their eyes pop out.

But the pacing makes that episode so fucking boring. Gohan slooooooowly walks to one, oneshots it, slooowly walks to the next, rinse/repeat. It ruined the awesome transformation moment.

Yeah, I'm still not over final flash just being a training unlock. Budget was definitely spent early and late game. I would gladly sacrifice something like Cui's death for a FF cutscene

@@kylemiller518 here is the thing that people forget: the Final Flash moment is so rare in the games that it shouldn't be surprising it's not in it. I think it was only like less than a handful of times in the DB games

7:07 To answer your question, YES, he absolutely did lol. In the anime Gohan completely washed Cell like it was nothing, while in the manga he literally only hit Cell *four* times before he threw up Android 18. It wasn’t much of a fight, it was more like Gohan asserting his dominance on Cell

@@Reaper-bl1ye I like all the music from Dragon Ball tbh. The Bruce Falconer sound track is good, the Kai one is fun, the og Japanese is great as well. I even like the ocean dub sound track. But if I had to compare the two, Kai matches the tone of the original anime than Z. The Z soundtrack was made because Cartoon Network thought American kids needed more “upbeat” music to be entertained. However in doing so they change the original context of the scenes. Like Gohan transforming to Super Saiyan 2 is supposed to be a quiet scene then the music sweeps up when Gohan transforms, but Gohan in Z is talking and the music is blaring. Falconer is great but it doesn’t fit with dbz as well imo.

In the anime while Gohan and Cell’s beams were clashing, literally everyone who was conscious (besides Vegeta who was too hurt) went behind Cell and attacked him. Even though they knew at most it annoyed Cell. It was sick because they chose to either live or die together.

I remember in the English dub, instead of Vegeta saying "I'm done fighting", he says "I am no warrior, nor shall I fight again" which was way more shocking. He got pretty depressed at this point in time but it did help him become a family man.

I just love that this man actually had the ideal perspective of this arc too. He really went into the Cell games talking big shit about how strong Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks were, but didn't mention Gohan's power at all. Just completely disregarded him entirely. Only for Gohan to be the strongest by an absolute mile. Such a great journey. I can't wait for the Buu arc. Some really weird and fun stuff to come.

In order to use Instant Transmission Goku needs to lock onto someone's energy. So he can't just go to a random spot in space he needs to actually go to someone.

technically yes...but he teleports to random spots when he is fighting without the need to sense a being...So I just say its just based on plot, like everything dragonball

As a longtime dragon ball fan it has been so fun watching you experience everything for the first time. I hope you take a chance one day to just rewatch the fights in Z. This game is great but is very censored and you lose out on some amazing moments.

The way instant transmission works is that he needs to locate a power source and then he can instantly teleport to it. So he can only teleport to people.

Awesome video, and great idea to spit it into two parts released back-to-back. The "Warrior of Hope" DLC follows Trunks's future timeline, both before and after he travels to the past. Even though it's DLC 3, I highly suggest doing it *before* DLC 1 and 2. Not only is DLC 3 unrelated to them, but you'll also unlock some sick new moves for Trunks that will come back to the main timeline with you.

I love how amped and powerful he feels during the Cell Juniors fight, while the actual fight is a complete squash match against the main cast.
